Im reading several people say "1 ear drops off". I have Jabra fir a month now. I found it to be very "bright" At my first Re-visit, Costco changed Bass settings (i think). Helped brightness!! But left ear (better ear) drops OR seems to MUTE a second fir loud treble noises! Then it seems like its maybe "sampling" 1-2 sec. then comes back on. Very unnerving! Im going back to reverse changes. What's with the cutting out?

Great video. The Hear Advisor website is confusing me in that it says that really none of the hearing aides tested are good in noisy environments regardless of price. How am I supposed to pick one when this is a huge problem for me? The only good ones are Sony, Sennheiser earbuds! Don't want to wear those the night I'm going to a bar or restaurant. Curious to hear your opinion on it. Thanks.

I do not trust hear advisor, they have sony on top. I tried that sony and it was lower than mediocre. They do not have the latest models in their list.

Had the Jabras for 6 months and was never happy. Always sounded like my ears were plugged. Tried every dome style. After many visits and adjustments my audiologist suggested that I change to Phillips. What a difference! The Phillips are what I was hoping to get from a hearing aid. Better clarity, much better sound for speech and surprisingly good sound for music streaming. Slightly better Bluetooth connectivity.

I’ve noticed that you don’t have Rexton Bi-core as an option. Are they no longer available in the US Costco? Min3 are currently in for warranty repair so it makes me wonder. Regs from Downunder.

A simple solution to the sweat/ moisture issue is to have a pair of Apple Air Pods Pro Gen 2. The transparency mode is a very decent substitute for up to moderate hearing loss, and features the best streaming audio quality. Great for the gym, outdoor walks, etc. They are incredibly stable as to connectivity. Of course, an iPhone is necessary.

I’ve been using the JPE 20 for 6 weeks now. The Bluetooth LE A blows me away! Will never go back. Have the TV streamer+ and it’s unbelievable too! I can leave TV and go to another floor of house and the sound is crystal clear. Connection with iPhone not as strong, but significantly better than previous Bluetooth. Love the small size, being rechargeable, and the case holds 3+ charges! Finally, the app is pretty amazing too. No complaints so far, and no I’m not a salesperson, just love these aids!

iPhones don't have LE A, it's using the same old BT MFi, that's why it is not as good.

Calling BS also, iPhone doesn't have LE Audio And I can do the exact same thing with my older TV streamer 2, and my new Jabra's. I can even walk to the neighbor's house next door still hearing my TV stream.Just fine and I'm not using an iPhone.And my android does not have le audio

Recently had to take my Jabra Pro 2.0 back to Costco for warranty work. My Jabra's lost the phone call "talk" capability. I could hear the person talking to me while on a phone call but they could not hear me. Costco had a one week turn around and I received a new pair of Jabra's, not a reconditioned pair.

You're supposed to talk into your phone on a phone call. Not the ideal situation. Classic Bluetooth, while hard on batteries, allows this with Android phones.

@terrygreen2484 There is a setting in the accessibility settings on IPhone that directs the microphone on the Iphone instead of the hearing microphone. Fixed my same issue.

I have had the Jabra Enhance Pro 20's for 5 months. I have a Samsung A42 5G Android phone. I have had absolutely no problems with the Bluetooth connection. I can hear calls very clearly and the person I'm speaking with can hear me just fine talking into the microphone on the phone.

Not interested unless I can use the aids completely hands free without talking into the phone. Bluetooth LE Audio is supposed to support hands free calling.

I have the 20's and not inpressed. The directionality at times shifts while the aids try to figure out what they want to hear and what they dont. Very annoying. I had tonhave audi change directionality. Also, pairing drops at least once a week if not more. My S20 is on the approved list but still sucks that i have to constantly re-pair. Also loses pairing with my TV Streamer. In fact right now i cant even pair the Streamer any more. I have older Resound One's and these are not worth the upgrade at all. Also Costco kinda sucks overall. Pretty sure i will be returning these

Am using Jabra enhance pro 20 from Costco for four months now. Jabra was recommended by the audiologist. It's connected to my android phone. I have all those issues you mentioned like disconnected Bluetooth, only one aid connected sometimes, no sound at all streaming to name a few. I have two more months to return and get another one. Do you recommend any other better than Jabra or it is not worth the hassle. Thank you.

Just got my dad the jabra, keeps saying everyone is screaming haha. Cool units with noise cancelling when he is on his iPad … very happy with them so far

Going on Day 5 of my new Jabra enhanced 20s. I've been wearing in the ear hearing aids for over 20 years and this is my first over the ear model. I love that I can stream music and video from my phone I'm sure I can get that in most over the ears now though. Sound is okay. I'm not going to lie, but I expected a huge improvement and I just didn't get that. I find myself using the volume up and down constantly along with the app custom settings to find the sweet spot for me. I have a much harder time hearing on my work IP phone than I did with my ITE aids, I can't seem to find the best settings for that. My loss is severe to profound and I've asked the Costco fitters if I will need a custom mold, on two occasions, they said I should wait, and keep with the domes first. I held off on the custom molds but I really think I will need it. If the 9050s come out before the end of the June I will try that one first otherwise just purchase the ear molds for the Jabras and hopefully that does the trick

I would say you should definitely get moulds. They made a huge difference for me. I'm also severe to profound.

Longer and slimmer seems like it would be a major plus, vs the shorter, fatter profile of the latest Philips. I am indeed one of those in America who is waiting to test drive the new 9050 hoping for the latest and greatest tech. To me, the name value of Philips is far stronger than Jabra, which to me presents images of cheap pc and cell phone headpieces.

I see what you are saying, but Jabara is owned by GN Netcom and are almost identical to their other brand Resound's Nexia 9's but a fraction of the point. At least GN Netcom's product lines are in hearing devices. Phillips has products from, Lightbulbs, coffee machines to toothbrushes. I have the Jabra 20's and they are definitely a step up from my Phonak Marvel's. My trial period ends in a few days, if the 9050's had come out earlier, I probably would have at least tried them out. I guess I have to get over the FOMO and just be happy with what I have (I am). Anything I can get today, next week or even a few months from now will most likely not be as good as what is out in 3 years when my warranty is up and I start looking for something new.

1 month of Jabra pro 20s. I have severe hearing loss. HA user for 12 years. #1 the bluetooth streaming cuts out on one ear using a Samsung S23. #2 The single button on each aid means if you take one out you can only change volume in one direction without using their phone app. #3 Worst of all: Jabras WILL NOT accept an Auracast transmission from the S23 even though it is listed by Jabra as compatible. They will only accept a one to one normal BT transmission. Jabra tech support was useless and admitted that Auracast only works between Jabra products. That is misleading advertising. Samsung suggested I await android 15 for improvements in Auracast. These Jabras are therefore no more convenient than my Kirkland 9.0s. Jabra Auracast is not ready for prime time. They are expecting us to be their beta testers. Time to see if Philips 9050 can do any better and return these.

Anyone who is researching hearing aids will already know what LE audio is. A quick google search would answer your questions and he would not have to explain every little detail to the 97% of us who don't need a detailed explanation of commonly known terms. That would certainly ruin it for all of us who have done a little research and don't need to know every last little minute detail because we already do and don't need to hear it again.

Had the Jabra 20s from Costco. Returned them due to dissatisfaction with the Bluetooth and streaming. One ear or the other dropping out and just a big hassle linking to phones, car, laptop, TV, etc. Product seemed very immature and not ready for primetime. I will try the Philips and see if they are smarter and more robust.

i'm a first time wearer. I'm picking up my 9050's Sat. at Costco. I have asymetric hearing. I did wear a sample pair around the store for about 15 minutes and I'm amazed. Not a single negative so far. My fitter set them to 80% for the test. My question is this. I don't believe there was a right or a left. She was on break when I returned them so no one to ask questions to which I will of course when I pick them up. When she entered my audiogram for my hearing loss, do these 9050's already understand my asymetric hearing and adjust themselves or will I always need to differentiate my left and right. I questioned when will I get put to 100% and all she responded with was "these have AI you know." So, that didn't really answer my question.

This is my first day with the Jabra Pro 20. I'm overwhelmed with everything you can hear. Thing is I don't want to hear my turn signal so loud or any other unimportant sounds. I previously had the Rexton over the ear for 5 years. My music was great with those providing lots of bass. The Jabra seem to be all treble even after I've made the adjustments. I'll read the manual to see what I can do to enhance the bass. I have Tinnitus so my music is always on.

I had a pair of Jabra rechargeable fitted at Costco to replace my Rexton hearing aids with standard Blue tooth. I hated the sound quality with the new Jabra’s listing to my Spotify …. Terrible! They refitted twice but I returned them . Costco was great, and i had Jabra blue tooth before i had hearings, loved the old products. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have the Jabra pro 20 hearing aids and the new TV streamer. The TV streamer drops one ear from time to time but reconnects most of the time. Click on the streaming button to turn the streamer off and back on fixes it. At $250 this shouldn't happen. Auracast is supposed to be available but isn't available for the IPhone. There is no time frame given when or if they will have any auracast available for the IPhone. I have been having discussions about false advertising and Jabra tech support just hangs up on me. My personal view is they are having trouble blocking the low-cost Bluetooth transmitters for TVs and computers yet allowing public Auracast.

I have them and the bluetooth streaming on phone calls or streaming music. I do have an iPhone. I was really disappointed in the streaming but overall they seem to work well as a hearing aid. If they had better quality streaming I would really like them. I hope they can address the bluetooth issue.

My Galaxy S24 Ultra has LE Audio. LE won't become mainstream until Apple gets on board. From an article I read, but it's just rumor is that LE Audio won't be coming with the iPhone 16.

I have sever hearing loss. I tried Jabra at Costco. It was disconnecting with sound and environmental noise. I am not sure why? It may be wrongly program? I am not sure which Jabra model I was on about 1 year ago. But new Jabra do that today?

I am using a Jabra Pro 20 supposed to be Ip68 water and dust resistance. But it stops working after I forgot to take it off going into shower. Even I immediately removed and dried them but it stopped working and has to go back to factory for repair. What a joke for IP68.

A lot of times moisture gets into the mics, causing them to “stop working”. Getting them vacuumed out usually makes them work again but a lot of people don’t take the time or don’t know how to disassemble the aid the do that, so they send it in to the manufacturer

I'm currently trying to decide between the Resound Nexia 9 or the Jabra Pro 20's. I'm getting a little runaround from Costco (they screwed up my hearing test and refused to admit it) so I'm wondering how the hearing aid themselves will function. I understand the risk in service but I'm also trying to understand why the Resounds are almost 4 times more expensive if the Pro 20's are identical to the Nexia 9's. Are these really identical?

Resound and Jabra are the same, I heard. Jabra is sold in USA and Resound in Europe.

I see a pattern here, ALL RU-vid hearing experts never review Rexton hearing aids. All they review are Jabra & Phillips. Sure, you will say that because Rexton is not good, why not review them? I'm starting to think that some of these major manufacturers somehow might be enticing reviewers for airtime. I have Rextons, and periodically go back to Costco and try the other more popular brands. I have them program them with my prescription, I always come away with a more positive hearing experience with Rextons.

I would not trust Philips as a medical device manufacturer after the enormous disaster with their CPAP machines including design, recall and resolution. People were breathing in cancerous plastic foam particles while sleeping with their CPAP machines, so they were FDA recalled not to use. Replacement machines of other brands were very hard find and were very expensive. It took Philips more than a year to replace or repair their machines. And the new machine had a overheating issue. Philips is a Dutch company!

Philips Hearing division is a different company. Philips (the Dutch one) divested it a long time ago. The hardware used for HearLinks is the same as in Oticons and is made by Demant which is just licensing Philips's name.

@@grzeszczny Philips Hearing Solution is a part of the Dutch Philips Company according to the information the Hearing Solution site. The Philips CPAP company is Respironics also belongs to the Dutch company. I would never buy a Philips product! It is a Dutch company!

Demant is the real maker of HearLinks, it's not up for discussion. It's even stated clearly in some of the HearingTracker reviews and at the bottom of US Phillips hearing solutions web page.

@@grzeszczny Philips has many suppliers maybe Demant is one of them but Philips branded products are sold by Philips and warranted by them. It is not up for discussion. Philips has had many failures in the DME market. Philips is a Dutch company!
