Should You Buy The Miele G 7966 Dishwasher? 

Probably the only channel on YT where you can get a serious data re the home appliances (and I live few thousand miles away in Poland) - bought my Miele W1 thanks to you guys! Thanks!

I love my Miele washer and dryer, so now thinking about a dishwasher. Unlike the AutoDOS liquids my washer uses though, the PowerDisk seems overly expensive (£10 for 20 cycles, as opposed to the best dishwasher tablets which are £11 for 90). Is the PowerDisk optional, and you can still just use normal dishwasher tablets?

For 500 less Miele offers the G7596SCVI. Looks like the exact- same dishwasher. What is the difference function-wise?

If Knock2Open fails, whaddaya do? Is there a WiFi command or manual override somewhere to open the door?

Is a custom panel required for the 79 series, or does the dishwasher come in stainless with a panel option? Thanks in advance!

What about the Cove dishwasher by subzero? I hear it’s an amazing dishwasher. Can you do a review?

Is the bottom spray arm now plastic ?

Only problem - it doesn't come in white. And we don't want our nice kitchen looking like a diner kitchen, with the horrid stainless steel stuff.

Nobody talks about the per cycle cost of the autodos system. Bad sign!

No coverage of the door latch. Bad door latch design = water on floor.

Short answer is, NO, you shouldn't. Miele are total rubbish, will fail shortly after warranty and you'll get NOTHING from customer service.
