Hi! Great video! I can't decide between screw on filters and matte box. In terms of quality do you think it's the same? Less vignetting on the matte box? I only use 77mm diameter lenses, what would you suggest? Thank you so much!
Since you are using the matte box is on a zoom lens which protrudes out. Overtime, do you think it's too heavy or will damage the lens. This looks great for cine lenses but wondering if it's good for zoom photo lenses. Thanks 🙏🏻
Good question. Honestly, it's hard to say. It's not THAT heavy and is considered extremely lightweight compared to other matte boxes. But it is definitely more weight than normal. I would imagine it would be fine for normal use. I would just be careful not to leave the lens all the way extended with the matte box on for longer than necessary!
I watched this video the day it came out and decided i wanted an ND filter. The one i bought from amazon was only £16.99 and I've just done a review of it on my channel to see if it's any good. Would appreciate anyone checking it out!
I think it comes down to personal preference. I would image the quality of the glass is the same or very similar. It really depends on your preference for form factor!
Yes! I have UV filters on my lenses and everything attaches just fine! Polar Pro is coming out with some expanded options for filters for the Basecamp that include mist! Keep an eye out on the channel for more information about that!
