Yes, I would like to see a video on how you would review a business' books to see if you want them as a client. Please. That would be a good topic and procedure to discuss.
I have mixed views about charging for a consult. I think a consult could be for free or for a fee depending on the type of business you do, nature of consult questions and time involved. Is it in person? on the phone? online? 5 minutes or less? 10-15 minutes? or longer? Are the questions very basic? Eg: What is your fee? Hours you are able to work? Your Qualification for the job?. Or, this is what I need done, can you do this for me for X amount of money in this time frame?
I can look into this and make another video. But, I know that bookkeepers charge several hundred dollars to review a client's books. I think standardization is a great idea! But, probably not practical. Thanks for watching!
I definitely charge to review the books. Cost of living fluctuations will affect how some people charge for different services. Maybe I don't understand what you mean by "standardized". Can you elaborate?
@@jenninemorel7693 consultation fee is the same just like a plumber coming to your house to check whats wrong and tells you you the cost of what needs ti be done. Just taking a look at it cost like say $100 by just coming in. Maybe that’s what she meant by consultation fee.maybe plumbers are charging standard fees for just coming in.
