Great explanation. I am planning to buy xuv 700 during current discounted prices. One question to you- Would you recommend AWD. Have you faced situations where AWD feature was useful. I mean if I have the budget, should I go for AWD variant if I have mostly highway drive.

Definitely it's used even when you hard accelerate. It's not designed for off road as it's not 4wd but it's used in many situations

Hi first of all after watching many videos and being a prospective buyer of xuv 700 no one came close to the kind of details and practical points you have put out . Kudos to you. I wanted to know whats your take on colors midnight blue and everest white as i am confused between the two. Its a personal choice agreed but would love to hear whats your take on it choosing and why.

Well when sparkling clean n shining nothing looks better than midnight black, but it's a dark color with white base primer so stone chippings n scratches can cause problem. If you want to just take less care of paint surface white is best .

I just did XUV 700 test drive. I felt dhad dhad sound the moment I started driving the vehicle. I drive Creta today and planning to upgrade my 7 year old car. It still runs smooth and absolutely no noise on any rough road circumstances. What is your point of view about this dhad dhad sound. It can be annoying. Please suggest so I can make up my mind

No big noises or sound but the door rubber start making noise in 8 to 10 k km n need regular care so that they don't make the humming sound . That's the only problem if you want 100% quite cabin . Rest vehicle has very good NVH

Hope they will fine one soon, but your response helped me to clear my doubts. To the point and very good review to the real world situation instead of marketing the product.

Will removing the additional connector to battery disengage the Auto Start Stop function? Honestly start stop function has been a painful feature added in XUV700.

I also own first batch XUV700 AWD L variant, one difference you have missed, old variant have thigh/leg airbag you can see that below the steering, but face-lift variant don't have that despite of increased price.

Sir new variant also has Knee airbag its not removed.
