Yes bro, it is completely fine. If you are that worried about your health, consult a good eye specialist but it won’t affect your career in cse in any way so you can go for it

I have made videos on many branches on this channel and how you can choose a branch as well. I will advise to watch those videos as it will help you understand your interests.
There is a scope of upgradation in many colleges. Look up your college’s upgradation rules and then decide. It is usually quite difficult to upgrade your branch this way though…

Bro lakhs of students pursue EE every year. So, don’t be concerned of outside noises. Bro either you can go for a college where you are getting cse and work hard on your coding skills there, or if these state colleges are really good, take any branch and start working on building your tech resume from first semester only, you’ll be in a good position then.
Most tech companies prefer to hire cse students but there are MANYY companies where they hire students from any branch as long as they are skilled enough. So, it is difficult but it is very much possible.
Guyz m a 3rd year ee student at nit Silchar m doing coding right coz m interested in it sector.. to be honest it's tough to do that but yes it is not impossible I m doing many of my other friends are doing and our seniors have also done
Bro I am also a 3rd year student in ee branch in state government college but honestly you know that nit professors are far better than tier 3 ones even they are comparable to IITs.I don't like to attend their lectures but forced to due to 75% attendance criteria..

Prefer older IITs like Delhi, Bombay, Madras, Kanpur, Guwahati, Roorkee and Varanasi. New ones are also great but they don’t have as strong alumni network.

It depends on the college you are choosing. There are many state government colleges where you can get your dream package for sure so… just pick a good college.
I am currently in 3rd year of electrical engineering in tier 3 state government college let me tell you reality. Please don't choose the core branches like electrical, mechanical,civil or any other in tier 3 college because you will never get proper instruments to perform practicals cse is way better you can run your program on your own laptop if lab one is not working.... And also faculty sucks in these types of colleges... If you think i will join tier 3 with core branches and crack gate you are in delusion you won't get enough time to study for it ... Mind my words to study core branches properly you need highly skilled faculty and professors which lacks in normal college. Conclusion : if you get electrical in iit,iiits,nits,dtu,nsut,bits,ju then only go for it else choose cse blindly.
