I was a Norwood 6 by the age of 23, got my hair transplant done when I turned 29, 9 months later my whole head is covered in thick curly hair. Just go for it if your on the fence, you have nothing to lose at the end of the day.

You need to be on meds, that’s why it’s getting worse. If you got a hair transplant it wouldn’t solve anything but just make you look silly since you’d be bald behind transplanted hairs.

@@gutsssz what types of meds should i be on been trying very hard for many years to stop this from happening is not falling out like crazy anymore it really slow down to be honest it might have start but i am bald and most places. @stonerawks9882
@stonerawks9882 7 месяцев назад
@@gutsssz What you're saying is only half true. You won't look silly if you keep losing hair after a hair transplant, it will just look like hair loss. It's like saying people who lose hair at the crown first but still have great density everywhere else on the scalp look silly. If someone gets a transplant to restore the hairline and then they go bald at the vertex it's still better than not having a hairline at all. Why is what you're saying half true? Because you are correct about medication, ideally you should hop on therapy to lose as little as possible. But you won't look silly if you keep losing.

Shouldn’t you first test for autoimmune conditions & hormone levels& vitamin deficiencies b-4 performing surgery? * edit I forgot thyroid checks as well. Don’t all these things work together as epigenetic factors esp in very young men?
@H.E.M.
@H.E.M. 7 месяцев назад
What does that have to do with male pattern baldness? Hairloss isn’t a disease is genetic.
@user-nf3ry4mw7b
@user-nf3ry4mw7b 7 месяцев назад
@@H.E.M. Genetic hair loss is only type. There are many things that cause hair loss. I’m a medical biologist & genetic engineer. It’s too complex to explain on YT, however I will give you some examples. We all know that chemo can cause hair loss. Chemo is only one type of toxin that causes this. Our good Doctor here has an autoimmune condition that caused his hair loss. Soldiers in Vietnam exposed to agent orange (a pesticide) had children with serious autoimmune diseases some of which that could not grow hair on any part of the body. Women that enter menopause often experience hair loss that becomes worse as time goes on. Hormones are a major cause as are nutrient & vitamin deficiencies, thyroid issues, etc. The only way to know for sure what is causing hair loss is to get an experienced physician that can run the required tests to find the root cause of your hair loss. Once found, the patient can often be treated and regrow hair or halt the loss process. I hope this helps! ❤️
@m.offord4836
@m.offord4836 7 месяцев назад
@@H.E.M.Genetics are a big factor but sometimes there can be other things happening in conjunction that can make it worse. It’s better to get evaluated early and see if you need any other treatment. If it’s early stages then medication can work very well at retaining the existing hair follicles.

Maybe they could be suggesting other treatments like medication or injections? Surgery is very expensive and more of a last resort option. If you have access to less invasive treatments maybe it’s better to do those first and if they don’t work then move on to surgery.
@jakejohnson1378

From my experience, minoxodil, finasteride, prp, and all of the other treatments are not going to fix someone's hair in the way that most people would want results. All of those therapies and medications will be far more expensive than going to Istanbul for $2500 transplant. It will save a ton of money and potential side effects from drugs over a long lifetime.

....i mean, sure your body responds to diet changes, but if you have androgenic alopecia diet alone is not going to reverse your hair loss. There are minor things you can do to slow things down but i really dislike that a doctor will give young men false hope, fear monger meds and push a diet that has been shown to be unhealthy in long term. By the time they notice that his methods are not going to fix their hair loss, they will have significantly more loss and nutrient deficiencies from missing entire foods groups that are extremely healthy. Diet is about variety and balance.... most young men don't have the money to eat only grass fed beef for every meal so there are environmental concerns as well as concerns about health issues. Any diet can be successful short term, but over years it's unsustainable for your health and wallet, not to mention you will have no options left to preserve your hair and have to get a transplant.

If we could get people off all the junk food and empty carbohydrates they eat and convince Americans to eat a proper human diet that is ancestrally appropriate, we might see less hair loss among young people. We evolved to be meat eaters. And corporations who stand to earn billions are pushing manufactured foods and vegan products. We evolved into Homo Sapiens by eating meat, not eating sugar and junk. Now we are a nation of obese people; diabetes type 2 and heart disease and cancer are at epidemic levels. Hair growth is a function of healthy bodies, healthy metabolic function. Stop consuming manufactured foods people!! Stop drinking soda and eating processed foods. Eat meat, Eggs, Fish. Get off all the crappy fast food devoid of nutrients causing inflammation and autoimmune disorders, such as alopecia. Baldness is not natural.
