I was re-watching this video and I realized I had my mistake in the financial aid part. I accidentally said in the north eastern United States, I just meant to say Eastern United States it was ranked third and affordability, my bad
Funny story: I originally studied math at Barry and the head math professor say how my math skills were, complicated my work, and said that he thinks FIU would have been the better option for me.
Can u talk about student housing? Like how hard is it to get the housing you want? I was looking into bayview and was wondering how hard it would be to actually get a room
Oh yeah thats a good question, to be honest housing is really competitive, especially if you’re trying to look for a studio apartment on campus, they fill up so fast. But housing usually is pretty affordable with decent quality :)
@@HannahKosoff thanks for the reply😊 my plan is to finish getting my associates degree next year (I’m a senior in hs) and transfer to FIU the year after so I’m hoping I can get a studio or somethin in the newer buildings. I assume early applications help with getting the room u want?
@@tommylim5178 i’m not too sure of early applications will help that much, but what I definitely recommend you do is that on your selection day do it as soon as you can if you were really specific with where you wanna live :)
I'm moving to Miami soon to study, do you know which age is required to go to clubs ? all of them are 21? or probably 18? its not an important question to study but just curiosity
@@HannahKosoff i'm senior in high school as international student and suck between usf and fiu for bs in computer science. I would like to have good internships and research opportunities and work with huge companies. Would i have such opportunities if i choose usf of fiu? can i pay my living expenses by working on campus jobs?
id pick fiu. i was choosing between the two as well. fiu is going to get you a WAY better education, and there's a lot more social life in miami. boca raton is full of older people so there's not much to do without going to fort lauderdale or miami. fiu is also way cheaper. in my opinion the only good thing about fau was the campus. i've heard from a lot of people that the campus life there is completely dead though. just something to think about! both are nice schools and college is what you make of it. i hope you enjoy wherever you choose nonetheless
