With passing of Bill 96 into law, Quebec is implementing it. Small companies with 25 or more employees must conduct their businesses in French. They need to submit reports to provincial government on the percentage of employees who don't speak French. This will affect hiring of non-French speakers inadvertently.
Bill 96...implemented now...its going to be super hard...coz Quebec govt knows people do not want to integrate in their culture.....they want to turn quebec into mini india, mini Iran, Mini Arab....mini italy. Its only fair.
Starting 1st Sept 2023, graduates of private unsubsidized institutions (48 of them) in Quebec are no longer eligible for PGWP. They include: Cestar College; April-Fortier College; Avalon College; Canada College; CDI College; Cumberland College; College of Aeronautics; Matrix College; Greystone College; Herzing College; Kensley College; Milestone College; St-Michel College; Ascent College; and Trebas Institute.
Starting in 2024, Quebec will double the tuition of out-of-province Canadians for the three English universities; namely McGill, Concordia, and Bishop's. This will result in enrollment decline from out-of-province Canadians.
@@connectvishal00sure brother ,I want to apply for Concordia this fall ,but I am in dilemma to apply it or not because if the tution fees has doubled then I can't afford 😢
Children of new immigrants in Quebec can only attend French public schools for free. English public schools are not an option for new immigrants. After 6 months of arrival, new immigrants can only receive French service from Quebec provincial government, unless it is health care related.
if you want first job, you are best with bc or Ontario. Quebec is good for construction jobs. Plus in quebec in construction you get 2 extra weeks off in august.
French may not affect that much, because the government is very supportive here. They have started free French courses and they even pay you to attend those classes and also all the exam fees are also waived off.
Not everyone is good at lanugage. Many ended up leaving the province. With passing of Bill 96, Quebec government is giving a hard time to snglophones and sllophones.
That is a fact guys but the thing is the government is supporting here. We should at least appreciate these things 😅. They are trying to preserve their culture. As we all know with an excessive amount of immigrants in Ontario native Canadian culture is dying so here in Quebec they are trying to preserve it. I don't think they are wrong in any way.
student life is great in mtl and yes, it's much more affordable compared to other places. you should be ready though to deal with french as this french speaking province increased french proficiency requirements across the board
With passing of Bill 96, Quebec is forcing small businesses to conduct business in French. This will affect hiring if you don't speak French. New immigrants receive English service from Quebec government for 6 months only; afterwards, only French service unless it is health related. On 1st Sept 2023, graduates of 48 private unsubsidized institutions (colleges) are no longer eligible for PGWP. In Fall 2024, graduates from English CEGEP (colleges) will need to complete 5 French second language classes. By 2026, Quebec plans to make French mandatory for economic immigration. Quebec has its own immigration system and does not subscribe to federal Express Entry.

Many office workers are French. They can carry a conversation in French only, excluding you anytime. It is not fun working in that type of environment. So you have to learn French which is not easy.
Please make video on masters of civil engineering in structural engineering... about syllabus ....if any one know how to check subjects for ME in civil plz let me know. I just want to know about ME in structural engineering subjects in canada.
Master degree requires 4-yr Bachelor degree in engineering as prerequisite. After graduation, work as EIT (engineer-in-training) under the supervision of Professional Engineers (P.Eng.). After a few years, study and pass National Professional Practice Exam (NPPE). Since your undergrad education is non-CEAB accredited, when applying for P.Eng., the provincial governing body may conduct an individual assessment of your education. No master degree programs are CEAB accredited. CEAB=Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board. Quebec requires a French language test for P.Eng. licensure.
