Thank you, Mark. This was a very nice introduction to Erickson's orientation and techniques. As a long-time practitioner of Ericksonian hypnosis, the one issue I have had with my peers has been a sort of snobbery (for lack of a better term) with regard to more traditional, paternalistic hypnosis. There seems to be this attitude among some people that those "old" ways of doing hypnosis are somehow backward or even a type of violence toward the client. Personally, I disagree. I love all forms of hypnosis and find them all very fascinating. From a practical perspective, I think it is all a matter of what is most appropriate for the client and the situation.
Just got into this type of stuff. Hypnosis was for me. I havent tried a single person yet. I'm learning. Just getting what I need to do so. It's more a hobby to me now. I take my hobbies seriously and need to know these things. Thank you New to me I.e around a month so.. im confident I'm following the right influencer's. Cheers
