I would not want to be pregnant at 250-300 pounds thus y I need be under 200, Was never able get pregnant in 20s 4 bigger, I'm 33 and 240 now, fuxx, I have thyroid problem too.
I'm 39. Trying for my third child. I have an 18 year old and a 15 year old. Was 217 pounds at 5'7" in April 2022. I'm now 149 pounds. I'm hoping to conceive here soon. Had a miscarriage ar 10 weeks in December 2022. Had a chemical pregnancy in June 2023. Now trying again July 2023....maybe I can still have one more baby. I certainly hope so.
I lost weight because I contracted Covid at the age of 38 being 217 pounds with borderline high cholesterol. After covid my kidney function plummeted to the chronic kidney disease range, my fasting glucose was 113 and the nephrologist said my kidney function probably wasn't helped by my being obese (stated in a kinder and professional way). So I spent 6 months eating heart and kidney healthy diet. Dropped 48 pounds I think. Kidney function jumped to EGFR of 84. Fasting glucose 91. And cholesterol was normal. My pain and exhaustion from fibromyalgia went down 85-90 percent. Planters fascitis (spelling??) Went away. Before Covid gave me that wake up call, I was so exhausted and in so much pain that I felt like I was already over the hill and my life was all down hill from there...a baby was not even an option. But after getting my health in control I felt life and I could dream of a baby. I'm still working on dropping a couple more pounds to about 145 if I can before pregnancy so I can have as much energy and less pain if I do become pregnant. If I don't have a baby, well, I'm healthy and likely have a longer, more energetic, and less painful life ahead of me and I thank God for that!
