The BMW's windshield スタティック sticker thing says 'Static'. Some of the letters of it are supposed to be smaller too for grammatical purposes but could also be the angle tbh
Putting Katakana on a German car is wild to me. Also, adding the イ makes no sense to me. He’s elongating the pronunciation for no reason. Its already a short word. I read it at Sutateii..ku. Maybe I’m wrong, still taking my lessons.
The FA engines in the 86/BRZ they tried fixing the oil starvation issue the EJ's had, but it didn't completely fix it. As per my last comment about "100% of Subaru's breaking because of the owner" , back in the day I remember videos of people doing tight donuts in their WRX/STi and then it immediately has a spun bearing, its because of the same issue. The oil leans to one side and leaves the pick-up dry dead center of the pan. They put a baffle in the FA pan, but like you said, a long enough sweeping turn dries what oil collects on the baffle out.
My old man had an 87 Mazda b2000 king cab pickup in baby blue over black with those same chrome wheels. It was pre ford era and probably the best truck he ever owned, it was geared really and towed our 21 food boat around with ease. Thing was like 30 years old before it finally broke in half due to frame rot.
A.) How are people supposed to progress to a state of "knowing" what they are doing unless they start somewhere. B.) Wtf do you mean have taste? If you want your car to look a certain way, do it. C.) Elitism is disgusting. You knew nothing at some point, don't pretend like you knew it all fresh of your mommy's tittie. Ffs
Hydraulics are pretty binary. Usually, they are working or they aren't. Maybe there is something that is intermediately blocking a hydraulic journey... but it's more likely the electronic sensors
i saw one that literally just said "front glass" on some ratty ass S chassis. of course, it was on the bottom of the windshield because people are braindead.
IM DEAD AF you guys really review my old blue GR86 LOL🤣🤣🤣🤣 I dont drift but the car naturally was very playful and the rear end would kick out coming out a few tight turns. Hence SLIDIN86 wasn't my idea but stuck to it. Anyways i kept worrying baout the car blowing up and i had already tuned it so warranty was out the window. Roast me!!!
The RTV was not what was worrying me it was the oil starvation issue on right turns about 10 other 86's in my area had blown up and number has risen since I sold mine. Went with a GR Corolla since it has a what i would hope to be a more reliable engine by toyota but only time will tell.
@@TheRealSykx hahahahaha only on track and only if you drive like a complete dumbass. Ive experienced it but it only happened toward end of the last 2 sessions of the day. It has never happened outside track environment.
That was my mazda truck, which is completely different from the first gen ranger! The ford courier (ranger predecessor) was a rebadged mazda, and the 1994+ mazdas were just rebadged second gen rangers.
i’ve always owned the less loved versions of cars. base civics and subarus without turbos. it’s always “sell your car” one of these days i want to ignore that advice and turbo a base model
Miata guy should definitely get a vett. It's pretty much just a big miata. I'm also poor, though, and can't stand the idea of having more into a car than what it will be worth, just my opinion.
The Mazda mini truck was badged the Ford Courier. I grew up in the Detroit area in the 80's. It seemed like every other kid in my hIgh school had a parent working for Ford, GM or Chrysler. Anyway.. You could always tell which cars had a lease deal because they'd be all over the place. At one point they had a killer deal for $25 a month to lease a Courier. Almost every kid got one to drive to school. I think I counted over 80 in the high school parking lot before I stopped counting. My neighbor was a Ford engineer. He used to bring home awesome cars to evaluate. Certainly not to reverse engineer for Ford. One of the coolest cars was the Audi Quattro Coupe.
It’s about time I see a 3rd gen prelude in here, I’ve seen every video and I was especially pissed when you guys looked at prelude prices and never looked at the 3rd gen’s!!!! Not enough content for these cars :(( Love you guys and how critical and on point you guys are, keep it up ❤
Mini truck people are diy generation who loves the 90s. I can speak bc this is me too lol. We all know these aren't 50/50 balanced drift cars but they have lots of aftermarket, good sounds, 5sp manuals, and they're projects that usually start under $1k. We are getting the last of the 90s left that we can afford.
I'm doing the bare minimum mods to my VW 2.0T FSI. Cold air intake, PCV delete, catch can, and new rear coil springs. Just small things to make it a better daily driver.
@@pierstaylor5521 the catch can prevents liquid oil from pulling through the PCV system and carbonizing the intake. Any quality catch can will have a drain plug so you can drain it periodically.
@@pipbernadotte6707 Ah! Yes, that makes sense. I forgot that VW do direct injection, so your intake ports don't get 'cleaned' by the fuel. That's a great list of mods! It should make for a fun DD. Don't overlook getting some grippier tires for the summer. You won't regret spending a little extra money, I guarantee it :)
Respectfully disagree. Properly rated, they were thoroughly ratf*cked by the Honda/Tuner "community" and the only ones around at this point in the game are clapped out or survivor cars.
Early Mazda pickups and Ford Courier are all Mazda. They even had a factory rotary model. 1st gen ranger is all ford as well as 2nd gen ranger and mazda b
When I was younger, I couldn't afford much so doing the cheap stuff was the only option. Anything that changed the car was acceptable. When I got older, I realized that I wasted a ton of money doing little things that could've went to bigger things. But, now that I have kids, they all want to modify their vehicles. Spending tons of money on any mod isn't an option with the economy/inflation. My kids are lucky I can do all the work and not have to pay anyone. But the cost of a turbo isn't a few hundred anymore. 20 yrs ago, a supercharger and built engine cost around $5k. Today, the supercharger is $8k alone. I spent $3k on a fuel system alone in 2005 that is now $8k. But unless you wait till your old, retired, and can't really enjoy things, you need to do what you can young. Life is short and goes by quicker the older you get. I go to the track way less now than I did when younger. Just too tired now and don't want to put up with the bs. When you're young, bs is tolerable. Also, Karen's ruined everything. Environmentalist have ruined everything. None of the areas completely shut down that I used to go to is even recognizable anymore. Shutting them down did nothing but take away a place for kids/people to go enjoy. And they wonder why they have street takeovers. Not everyone wants to buy a sports car and drive it like a 4 door church car.
the Ford and Mazda are the same ute truck I had a b2200 with a sr20 5 speed bolted strait two the Mazda drive shaft with hockey Puck engine mounts pull that running gear for my s14 back in the day the ute went hard sr powered
My car has a ton of miles, it's an '09 in decent shape, I'm going to be it's last owner. I've been doing simple mods since I got it and I'm going to see how long it can last
I pray you can drive your car until the end of its mechanical life. I had that plan with my last '02, till it got rear ended at 50 mph. And I just put in a new alternator not even a thousand miles ago!
If there’s a faster version of your car. And you have money to mod your slower version.than get the faster one. Like if you have a e90 338. Don’t spend 3 grand adding 25hp, and making it louder. Just get a 335i, or 335D! Or just keep you 328i stock, and enjoy it
When I got my first s14(95 base 5speed concord gray) all my friends laughed and called it a “sports car”. Shortly after I got my second (95 se 5 speed aspen white pearl) everyone wanted one.
I have an 01 Tundra SR5 TRD Off-Road with 340k on the odo. The exhaust is cut just before the front seats and the two remaining cats are completely hollow. It's old, tired, shoots flames when it backfires, and has been beat senseless through the woods of WV. But still, it corners like a dream and can hit 128mph on a fairly short section of straight-ish road near my house according to the Strava app. The ol unkillable yota has a few fun surprises other than the near total lack of exhaust but you boobs will just have to see it in all it's glory for yourselves. Where do I send pictures/video? Fun fact, it will outrun a Ford explorer interceptor on gravel.
I still have my highly modified MX5 from my boy racer high school days. That aftermarket is so cheap compared to other cars and it has ruined me. My current daily ive had for 4 years is a passat tdi and it has remained completely stock in my ownership. I wanna do so much to it but its such a perfect daily for me as is, plus everything is so much more expensive so I dont even bother modifying. Almost out of the dieselgate warranty, then Im deleting all emissions, then ill probably never modify another thing. Im just getting older i guess
You know when you hear someone’s voice and then you see them and there no where near what you thought they would look like??? Netgear is exactly what I thought he would look like
Should you modify your car or just move on? It depends. If it has at least 6 cylinders and a manual transmission, keep it, and mod it. If it has less than 6 bangers, or heaven forbid, an auto trans, ditch that pos and get a car with some potential.
