Bonjour! Thank you for an excellent video! La Rochelle and the area look perfect for us. We are looking for a moderate summer climate area, with a plaza lifestyle, and near good healthcare (my wife has MS and is a cancer survivor). We walk, and ride, so public transportation is required. I am a retired American educator. We helped a new school open in Lviv, then spent 6 weeks in Krakow; we're in Tallinn for a month before heading back to Oregon. My wife and I hope to visit France after the Olympics. We plan to sell our Portland condo and then move to France. We will rent so we can travel throughout Europe, and perhaps help Ukraine rebuild after the war ends. There are several significant advantages to living in France: climate, healthcare, culture, and infrastructure. Merci!! Dean and Cindy.
La Rochelle region has as many hours of sun than south of France but less heat in summer. As it is west coast, it can be rainy in autumn and winter. Cold is rarely under zero.
Uh, the background music is louder than your voice! Music, actually, is not necessary in an informational video like this. It only distracts. Please consider just deleting it. Your viewers will be appreciative.
