My thoughts exactly !!!! I have no idea why people are being so hard on the game when realistically it did everything it set out to do. Only on PS5. Do not buy for PC or Xbox. A lot of good ideas here with half-baked presentation. Lackluster story, run-of-the-mill, experimentation, and somebody used on masses of people, zombies type monsters. Lacks a variety of monsters. You kill the same mini-boss 3-4 times. Combat is fun once you figure it out. You can't allow yourself to be surrounded so each situation is unique. You have multiple ways to approach combat to thin the heard so to speak before you go all out. It's not worth full price even if it ran better. There is still a game-breaking bug on Xbox in the "Below" mission where the game crashes every single time unless you completely turn off audio FX and music. Wait for sale and for SDS to fix the damn thing more.
I can agree with you on some of those points , especially the re-used mini boss. He was infuriatingly fun but 3-4 times was a bit redundant. While it could’ve been more fleshed out can I ask if you liked the story?? The revelations at the end definitely added a lot of depth but I feel like they’re waiting to elaborate for the story DLC . The game is the worst I've played in along time. Boring story Boring combat Boring Weapons Boring enemies Same crappy mini boss over and over again Wall/vent crawl simulator 2022 Worst last boss in a long time Jank save system.

I passed this game yesterday and I would give it a 7.5 . The combat was awesome and it looks great. My biggest peeve was the weapon swapping and healing, most of the times when you needed to do that you were in a fight against multiple enemies and it was impossible to do without them killing you. Basically you had to depend on luck to see if they gave you enough time to heal or swap over multiple tries. I really wanted to love this game but I just like it. The story was also almost non-existent and basic. I feel like if the devs use the good side of this game and better the lacking parts we can have a really great sequel.
I agree about the weapon swapping , it felt redundant to have to switch the gun and see him change receivers of the gun THEN reload it. The reload should be included in that long animation lol. Also I heard they made the healing animation shorter in the recent patch!
