This is my channel , it will include videos of me doing vocal covers, and me making crucially important videos on the crucial importance of video games.
Whoever made Doom IOS for Iphone and other touch screen devices is a freakin jerk. Some of the levels don't even have stairs for the poison pits in the level. It's like they want you not mess up on touch sensitive controls.
lol BRUV I had the same thoughts !!! Was playing doom 2 on iOS and loving it for a while then reached later levels that were clearly designed for precision control lol THE CHASM killed me
I played this game back in the day. This was the game that got me into level design. I first played it at a friends house as a young teen. I used to want a swimming pool in my backyard and by the time my parents were going to make that dream come true for me. I'm like, "what pool" I need a computer so I can play some DukeMatch with my buddy via my shitty 56k modem. Remember that shit. Thank god for cable, but yeah I like this episode. I don't let silly shit get in the way of fun, and like you said, there's always a way to get the other Duke3d Mods from Sunsoft. Thankfully I did get the megaton on steam before they removed it. Though I also have the og coppies to play with friends.
Ayyyy I can slightly relate to that story but I got insanely lucky as a kid cause my dad was a PC technician so he always had a good computer with the newest games, and anytime he wasn’t playing he’d let me get killed in doom, quake and of course Duke 🤘 and ya don’t get me started on the slow internet lol What did you design levels for ? Did you make Duke maps ? Ps thanks for sharing your story it hit me with that nostalgia 🎉

Second You're very welcome for the story. I honestly didn't think anyone would even care that much so that you for that :D As for what I made levels for: Mostly any game that had an editor and multiplayer with sick ass weapons. Started with Duke3d then moved on to half-life. Two things I must point out here. I didn't mind making my own fake lighting in Duke3D, and it wasn't until I got into mapping that I noticed the game wasn't actually 3d. Of course this was back in 1996 and my first time using a computer. Well the first few weeks of using one. By the time games like Half-life and the first Unreal Tournament came out. I really enjoyed how I could easily make rooms over rooms without using crazy tricks like with Duke. You can do room over room with both Duke and DooM via sorce ports and it's now actually 3d. then moved onto unreal 2004 where I first learned how to export and import *Static Meshes* I have a love/hate relationship with these things. I started out loving them. Then when Unreal Tournament 3 came out which not that many people aside from my friends and I played. Granted a lot of the stock multiplayer maps textures and static meshes weren't the best. I made all my own textures using photoshop.
@@maltsutty to maltsutty again. RU-vid is strange , at least for me. That's why I seemingly redundantly type again who I'm replying to . So the reason that static annoy me are two fold. One: Having to into Max or Maya. Now I use Blender btw, just to make trashcans or cars ect... or other complex looking geometry instead of just using one program like in the first unreal and half-life. Two, Light maps showing up wrong and all that BS. Even with RTX where you shouldn't need it. Nowadays It's the same thing. I simply don't play modern games. Many developers allow you to use their tools to make maps and even make paid DLCs for custom content. Community made maps were, and still are the best imho. Right now I've been busy making DooM maps via Ultimate DooM Builder. You can actually make meshes and colored lighting, normal mapping, but mostly I like to use the low res defuse textures. Just back to good ol' sector based lighting. However, I will use colored sector lighting, and 3d floors. Also you can make scrips for lights fading/Cine or light switches, breaking glass. Complex elevator setups. you name it. So much fun. As a matter of fact The scripting I've been doing via ultimate doom builder has gotten me programming. I'm working on making my own mod/game. I love this shit. Who knows maybe I'll bring Duke3d back. I don't need money. Just people who want to play a hopefully well made mod that doesn't take over a freak'n decade. Anyway sorry for the long ass story. Hope to hear back from you. take care. PS: Good luck on your channel man. Hope to see those numbers rise!
I can respect your position , having recently screwed around in SS1 OG I can agree it has great style and mystical atmosphere ✅✅👍👍 I can’t hate on the HD tho it’s pretty crispy
Great vocal cover. That was legitimately good. PS: I've watched a bunch of your game review videos before seeing this. Because of your voice, I actually thought you were a young black dude. I was WAY off 😂😂
Appreciate the kind words! Love Danza and I actually knew all the words to this song lol. Also that is the funniest thing I’ve heard in a minute😂🤣😂 I guess I do use some slang N SHIT 😜 but srsly appreciate you checking out the music content as well as commenting on my game videos bruv 🙏💯🤘
9:01 This gameplay footage.... What the hell are you doing bro? You're maxed out with rocket ammunition. Just pull out the goddamn rocket launcher and get rid of those Barons quick and easy. What the hell man lol
I didn't have to play through Doom 3 to see why its good, the weapons sucked, so I stopped playing. Simple. Anything before and after Doom 3 is good for me, because the weapons dont suck.
I just played it for the first time this year. I put together a vintage PC running Windows 2000, and I went looking for a game that I could play on it. It's a tough game! I've played it completion several times now, but even though I've unlocked the higher difficulty settings, I'm fine on normal. I've read that the version on Steam has issue with high framerates making it difficult to complete jumps, but that's not a problem when playing it on period hardware.
The World Tour Edition isn't a bad port, but you'd still be much better off using the Raze or EDuke32 sourceports to play Duke3D. Much smoother and more polished experience.
About that shotgun lacking an animation... What I've always done is I just pretend that it's a lever-action shotgun. If you pretend it's a lever-action shotgun, then the 'animation' works. But I have nothing helpful to offer regarding the Super Shotgun, which also lacks a reload animation. That just makes no sense, any way you try to rationalize it lol
I'm one of the few and the proud that first experienced Doom 64 on the original N64 hardware, back in 1997. I loved Doom 64 back then, but I like the modern PC remaster even more. Higher resolutions, crisper graphics, and you get to use mouse and keyboard rather than that goddamn N64 controller. It's a much better experience.
I don't understand why the sensitivity system on PS and Xbox are sooo different. On PS, the look options are limited but the Xbox version has the same exact look options as it does on PC. PS feels like a drift every time you move.
The alien monkey hunts in the dark tombs did my fucking head in when I played through SS3. It's my biggest criticism of the game. Shame too, because I do find the core combat enjoyable.
So I watched your serious sam 4 video and now this one and I can't wait to play it. I saw it was on sale for 8 bucks in the ps store. Got it amd will be playing it soon. I love serious sam. It's my go to fps game when I need a break from all the jrpgs I love playing
Hey thanks for checking out the videos ! Both games are killer I am excited on your behalf for getting to try Siberian mayhem fresh , you’re gonna love it ! Also it’s one of my go to games when I need that jrpg 100 hour story broken up a bit hahaha we share similar tastes 👌👌👌👌🔥✅
@maltsutty well I only bought the base game. I'll try out siberian mayhem later. Never got to play serious sam 4 on release since I didn't have a ps5 but I got one back in February. Here's to hoping we can get a new game or a remake of serious sam 2 in the style of SS4
Audio logs and modern environments? How cute. Just bring back SS2. It's silly, but fits the tone of the franchise perfectly. Give Netty some lines and you don't need audio logs.
Funny how you played some MCR during that painkiller segment I have fond memories of blasting that album when I finally got a PC capable of playing these games in the mid 00s. The console ports were pretty damn sub par and I had suffered through playing them on release and had to wait like 4 years before I could play Max Payne 1&2 as intended.
Hi I just saw this at the retro store for xbox360 I haven’t picked it up yet was thinking of picking it up. Isn’t there a serious Sam where he shoots and then the enemies turn into flowers? Also I just subscribed 😊
I fukkin love max payne with a passion ,literally my favorite game, beat it over 30 times easily. i sadly knOw The whole game word for word. THE FLESH OF FallEN ANGELs 😂. I played serious sam first encounter on pc when i was a kid.
Never played a serious sam game but always been a massive FPS player. Your video randomly popped up in the feed last week and convinced me to give it a try. I downloaded the GOG version of SS4 and I had a blast playing even bumped up to Hard! my only complaint is the downtime between fights lol finished siberian mayhem also and that's was a good game too! Less downtime inbetween fights. Bought TFE and TSE with fusion today while it's like 80% off for the Gold pack on steam. I'm looking forward to starting a run tomorrow. Thanks for vids!
Hell yeah, dude. I love SS series and haven't gotten around to playing 3 and 4 yet, so decided to do a marathon starting with TFE and TSE HD remasters. I used to play a lot of SS2 with my buddies in co-op when it came out in 2005, so I love it and would recommend you give it a shot. It's like 3, you might not like the visuals, but the game is fun as hell. Other than that great video, keep it up! :)
I’m a huge Duke Nukem fan I’ve been a fan ever since Automatic edition. On the Pc I’ve played a time to Kill And Zero hour unlike popular belief I loved Duke Nukem forever which I have on the PS3. I also love 20th anniversary edition of the game too.
"Now, i just summed up the gist of the story in three poorly constructed run on sentences" lmfao bro that line is actually hilarious. caught me off guard almost
Little known fact, if you've been to Rome then the instructions and even the layout that the old woman gives you are on point to the real counter part, so is the Pompeii level
I played tfe for the first time in 2018, when i got my own laptop. I just went to some pyrate site and found it in low spec category, then i fall in love with series. Now i own all Sam games (even spinn offs like DoubleD) on my steam account and hundreds of hours was spent on killing those mf aliens. Sorry for my english btw
