Should You Pull Yuffie Banner? ~ Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis

Hey Octo! I have Yuffie's poison weapon and have done some fairly serious testing on it! The quick TL;DR is that poison damage seems to scale based on the enemies health (I guess that would be a given assumption but it helps to know for sure) So obviously it sucks against small trash mobs and actually pretty decent to good against bosses! Poison is def a status effect that gets better the more you're invested in Debuff/Buff duration, kind of like Elemental Potency or Boost Phsy/Mag Boosts! The more duration the Poison has the longer you can go without recasting and increasing the value of those 4 ATB! It should be noted in my testing that it takes around 4.8 seconds between tick damage, maybe 4.5 sec. accounting for human error but I've test multiple times with a stop watch and it seems 4.8 sec. is when the damage ticks. So using Ifrit as a test subject (yes you can poison him, lol) Ifrit takes 3569 damage per tick (I'm not sure if there are any other factors that can influence the poison damage) so if I have an OB10 Twin Viper which gives me 30 seconds and I have my Debuff duration up to 120% that would be 66 seconds of Poison on Ifrit, which totals to 13 ticks (assuming 4.8 seconds a tick) for a grand total of 46,397 damage. For 4 ATB that ain't half bad, especially when you consider your own Stats don't seem to impact the damage at all. My initial impression is I think Poison would be amazing on Healers who aren't invested in damage b/c it seemingly gives them a nice contribution to damage without being super invested in. On Yuffie however, she seems to have damage options or other better buffing options, so I'm unsure if this weapon is worth over those. Just my 2 cents, thanks!

what i really love about yuffie and her weapons is that it seems like they really sat down and made everything synergize properly. everyone else's weapons seem to be kind of random and sit alone on their own little islands of effectiveness. almost all of yuffie's stuff works together or works with specific builds very nicely. i'm sure she'll get random weapons and weapons more suited for other roles as time goes on, but she just feels like the most complete and cohesively built character so far. so that kind of gives me hope for the future content.

So in short, she’s the materia slinger. That fits inline with her personality and physical stature. I wasn’t hyped before (I don’t care for Yuffie) but I am hyped now lol!

I imagine her Buff extension will be crazy good with her support limit break, it has Attack increase HIGH and regen. Will need to test if a burst summon damage is better overall still, but i think yuffie is definite buff support for patk team. Zack/Cloud/Yuffie lezgo

Glenn's weapon is honestly one of the best sub weapons in the game now. Those R abilities are insane.

I enjoy the game, but I've simmered to being more casual. No way to really auto farm, it's a battery killer on mobile, and farming in general is just a slog. What really did it for me was just how many events:story ratio we get. It's just a slog to grind events, especially when there's multiple. That said, it's still a fun game but I've stepped way back since launch

I'm a bit worried about the power creep for the story and how they will handle it. I'm just a f2p player who is interested in reliving the story, but I'm getting sucked into meta and grind in order to not get stuck behind power walls in the story. I have a feeling at a certain point I will get left behind not being able to pull on all these banners (just spent everything I had on fire Cloud).

Another thing to consider with Yuffie is that she fixes one of the main issues with the materia debuffing, which is the time duration. With costume and weapon setup, she can be the debuff starter. Even though she doesn't have def or mdef down weapons, we have the materias. So she can use Breach or Mana Breach to debuff, then another character (such as Cloud's hardedge) to get maximum PDEF down for example, giving you a much longer debuff duration.

Pull once right after maintenance thinking I'll wait for this video to decide if I'd go deeper or not..... Got a 6x stamp on 1st pull so just decided to go all the way to the costume (2/2/1/1) BUT got 0 gold other than the guaranteed one out of those 5 multis.....

I started last month and only had a magic team with Sephiroth ice and Aerith Ice (with her winter staff and clothes) and I had no idea what to build with these two, but then I rolled for CLoud latest fire weapon and clothes... I think I found who will be replacing cloud as a buffer / debuffer on my team, and then I'll able to build a physical team with cloud and her as well ! (and probably tifa or barret or zack)

Yuffie is amazing, especially for people with a lot of crystals to pull weapons. However, the specific elements per weapon means it’ll require us to have a lot of her weapons with high OB for her to regularly be a top choice. Tifa just debuffs magic and physical defense in general so she’s useful in most situations already. Yuffie’s clear tranquil duration is so low for 1800 charge speed. If I were a new player, I think I’d focus on Tifa and let Yuffie build up in the side. I realllyyy want to pull on the Yuffie banner, but I am not sure I will yet.

Poison is crazy! It only depends on enemy stats and not your stats so a very weak character can apply poison and on ifrit it does 3500 per tick. At 30 sec and with 120% buff time extension that is 77k damage from just 4 ATB! It also ignores enemy defense buffs and you can apply before you reach max atk stance.

I pulled. Got good stamp luck only using 12k gems for full page one. Slotted a bunch of her weapons into wishlist and used some of the tickets I've been stockpiling. Ended up with all the ele resist weapons ob1. I think she's going to be a staple in my team.

Kind of wondering if she would work well on my Fire team. Just not sure who to replace to allow her into my party. I would probably keep Cloud and Sephiroth (with their fire outfits and weapons) and sacrifice my Aerith as healer. The only thing is: I would lose a decent amount of healing potential, even with making Yuffie a healer/support build right now.

This is the fastest I've pulled on a banner since the last kairi medal dropped in Union Cross, when I tell you I had the QUICKNESS lmfao Cloud is by far my strongest character, and I've had 0 luck pulling PATK up weapons. Not only does it buff him, but it buffs HER too? Nah, I'm in LOL. Also incredibly grateful for the 5x exp boost so I can actually use her

love seeing my 2 main characters barret and red13th becoming even more useless with the more weapons / characters they release 🤓🤓

if she gets extra debuff/ buff extensions she'd be amazing in bahamut ex 2 . sooo annoying that my buffs dont stay long enough and im already forced to double cast to keep them alive . i know its just because being non-whale but dam lol wouldn't hurt to just get like 5 extra seconds

artic star kepp buffing my healer too when i put in auto. Auto should determine whether a character is have higher patk or matk and buff accordingly

After considering a bit.. Gacha collection wise if we care for it. Pulling everything, even just for at least the costumes is actually not too bad. We’re guaranteed everything without dropping stupid amounts. That’s kinda.. yeah, it’s a good deal lol.

Probably in the next event, she will be the key character. Since that's how been event banners were used for.

if I did the math right, if the buff/debuffs were 30 seconds, I think at 200% it would be 90 seconds? since a 100% boost would increase it by 30 seconds to 60. at least thats how I see it

Got lucky and got all 3 elemental debuff weapons from the 60 Yuffi speficic tikets you get, but im dry on crystals so cant pull for the banner sadly.

The fact that she grabs the support materia of all the other materia on the wallpaper says it all. It is a skip for me, need to save up.

Had more garbage banner luck. 7 pulls to get the costume, only got 3 5*'s including the guaranteed. Luckily one was Glen's new weapon so I got those.

Yuffie add a lot of strategies but it makes you heavily rely on one damage dealer, most setup will be healer / yuffie / cloud for phy. Meaning you can't have two dps or one dps and one debuffer. It most cases though she's gonna be very powerful.

square is quite generous tho , i think i got at least 2 of her new resistant down weapons from the tickets . six 5* from a 60 free pulls is good enough for me

Used all my crystals to pull up to Sephiroth's costume cause I didn't have one with him yet. Now, I'm at 7k crystals, wondering if I should pull or keep for now? How many crystals do you guys think I should save up to start pulling to get to Yuffie's costume?

My personal opinion, if you want the debuff weapons, for sure it's pretty good. Brings a lot more versatility into team building. Myself I always go for the costumes minimum, but I am tapped out a bit after the New Years banner, so I won't be going over the first card at all this banner.

I’m a bit disappointed that her specialty is increase buff/debuff duration. When fighting a boss with super buff, we just spam the debuff abilities and duration really doesn’t help with that. It would have been better if she increases buff effects or make it more vulnerable to elemental damage…. I probably pull just for R abilities
