i been taking 30 gr of hidrolized collagen daily since march, i do feel a change in my joints, less pain, more recovery muscle wise, even if it doesnt work it is pure protein 30gr of collagen are 30 gr of protein, i buy 2 kilos for 60 bucks it is as cheap as protein
Not quite brother, Collage protein is incomplete protein unlike Whey protein, therefore they are not equal in terms of total essential amino acids. There's a reason why bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts prefer Whey over Collagen protein.
Placebo. Any nutrient you get will be broken down into its composing blocks during digestion. For carbs it's glucose, for proteins it's amminoacids and so on. When you eat a certain protein it will not necessarily be used for a specific purpose (if you eat liver, the proteins won't all be used to repair the liver, same with muscles and collagen), instead the body will first break down all the proteins that you ingest and use the amminoacids to build and repair your tissues, not caring if those come from muscle tissue, collagen, heart of flowers. Side note: collagen is one of the proteins with the worst quality you can eat meaning (and that's a pretty difficult concept to grasp): say to build the proteins in your body you need 3 blocks total divided between 1A blocks, 1 b blocks and 1c blocks. A protein with a bad quality is one that per 100blocks has 90A 10 b and 10c because with that you will only be able to make 10 proteins. Oh the other end a good one has a good ratio of blocks like 30, 30, 30 meaning you can make 30 blocks. The protein with the highest quality is casein
Not true. The unique sequence and combination of these amino acids forms the specific peptide that the body will recognize and use as collagen. Protein shakes are just pure amino acid they're not sequenced into collagen peptides. No offense but you really should research this subject more
@@Toybinger given you say this with such confidence, please provide evidence that consuming collagen protein compared to whey protein has better results.
