i've had to take all of my tests so far online because none of the testing centers near me have had any available dates to schedule, and since i've taken 2/4 tests so far, i'm familiar enough with the process to point out some pros and cons: i like that i can schedule it for virtually any hour of the day, and i can even schedule it on the SAME day if i set it for a later time at an early enough time. it's really convenient to just be able to do from my room. on the other hand.... i hate the proctored aspect of the exams. not only am i stressed out about the time, but having someone i can't see literally watch my every move adds ANOTHER layer of anxiety that makes it even harder to focus on just doing what i know. even worse, communicating with the proctors themselves has been extremely difficult so far, because they (at least the ones i've had so far) have very thick foreign accents, and i feel silly when i have to ask them to repeat something several times. overall, i don't know which is the lesser of two evils, because i've never had the opportunity to just take these tests in a real testing center. however, with my proctored exam experience so far, i would definitely try in-person for my next test if i actually could. in fact, i actually have my 3rd proctored ged test tomorrow... math. if anyone reads this to the end, wish me luck!
I would personally take it online if I had a laptop or a regular computer. I done better on the pretests in the comfort of my own home than at the community college computer lab with others in there.
@@Tenphonesscreen sharing software could work. But it has to be a very advanced software. You just pretend like you are doing the work while someone else is doing it for you.
