I have watched nearly all your videos (GS, Medicine, and now paych and neuro). The good thing is that you know well from where you should get the information as an example if the topic is GS you cover the GS side of the topic and that is amazing. also you organize your topics very well (concise and comprehensive) . I hope you do more ortho and neurology/ surgery for the next videos. You guys deserve more recognition, keep the good work going.

Greetings !! I hope this message reaches you. I am 24 yrs Old and had a posterior Shoulder dislocation while sleeping face down to earth when it dislocated. (As if you are carrying a mountain = pose of sleeping) For sure, it was not serizure or epilepsy... I throwed balls and even had a fall on my back the previous day. I play badminton and want to continue it till I get old as a hobby. It's the only thing I love to do. It's mesmerizing. And after 2 weeks i had MRI Done which says, Non-Bony Bankart lesion labrum tear (1 to 5o clock). I have felt pop out and pop in of shoulder joint for a second during my smashes. I am recovering fast as of now. I can lift my arm straight. Most Doctor are recommending surgery with knotless sutures and all Physiotherapist says to get it exercise consistently for 5 to 6 months. Should i get surgery done or do rehab or both ?

@@zohebansari6429 Thank you for sharing wisdom. It's been 1 Month and 1 week.. And swelling still persist in triceps area BUT I am doing isometric exercises with finger wall exercise... I am seeing improvement in range of motion as well.. I cannot get surgery as i have my End Semester exam.. Since you are planning for Surgery, I recommend you (i am also a patien, not a doctor) to do some shoulder Range of Motion exercises as it's protocol... Do rotator cuff strengthening exercises also You will see instant relief. I can assure you.. Question... Is it your 1st dislocation also ? Good wishes for your speedy recovery

Gymnasts can do it on purpose while hanging on a bar and require zero recovery. I am hoping this video can explain what they are doing exactly.

I mean I can do it painlessly when doing reverse prayer pose but if it happens by accident with force involved it’s very very painful and there is soft tissue damage. I think it’s about controlling the movement

@@deltalima6703 You’re welcome. I believe building muscular strength to control extension is key to preventing ligament damage as much as possible with these movements 👍
