i can't get my hips up even when i use a bolster. also i can't keep my arms straight - they are more diagonal (probably not much flexibility there). what can i practice to get my hips up and my arms more straight and do this pose?

If you find that rolling into it is difficult try this video that works on spinal rolling. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uNhvlV7zw40.htmlsi=qnQ6O1w923edEjxI This may give you a feel for being able to roll the hips over. And in relation to the shoulders I also have a number of videos on shoulder flexibility. Go to my channel and search for shoulders and you'll see some videos to choose from. Hope that helps. 😀😀😀
