The Shovel Knight soundtrack has tons of amazing songs, and I took my sweet time deciding that this would be the first one I'd do. It's not the first song I started working on from this game, but turns out it's the first one I finished xD Jake Kaufman is one of the greatest modern video game composers, and if you haven't listened to this soundtrack, do yourself a favor and check it out. This acapella is easily one of the most technically difficult I've ever done on my channel, and I hope you enjoy the work I put into it!

I don’t think this one was Jake actually, at least not fully. He’s a legend don’t get me wrong but I believe this was the one track arranged by the legendary Manami Matsumae of Mega Man 2 fame.

Manami did a remix of this on the remix album (which may be what you're thinking of), but the only tracks she did for the base game were Plague Knight's stage theme and Treasure Knight's stage theme. It's easiest to tell with the style of the drum writing. Manami Matsumae wrote drums that were more accurate for the time (as in much simpler drums), but every Jake track has really wild drums.
