OMG, GET YOURSELF A PLUMOSA ASPARAGUS FERN! Also regular asparagus fern. I’ve had the latter for a decade, and the former for over a year. Super easy, and if you let it dry out by accident, they grow back a lot faster than a maidenhair. I grow mine in 100% coco coir with no drainage, and they just keep getting bigger and fluffier. They are pretty adaptable to different light levels, too.
Yay! I’m so glad you still have that rabbit’s foot fern! I’ve been wondering if it was a success story. Also def recommend the asparagus fern. Not really a fern, hearty AF and such fun growth ❤️
Your channel has been popping up on my suggested column for days now, but this topic header really caught my attention! "Weirdo Plants" is awesome!! Most of these look like they came right out of Dr Seuss's hand book! I love the one with the tips on the little bumps with the little palm tree like leaves growing out the top! That one is adorable! That last one with the stinky bloom, do you have an Alocasia Dragon Scale? I do and when mine blooms it stinks so bad! It makes my whole 2400 sq ft house stink!! TWO floors! I have to cut off the blooms as soon as they get big enogh to see the stem. It's a horrible stench, I can't even imagine one that is that big stinking!!
Oh Sherman! I am soooooo excited to have a piece of your cissus.. I think it’s liking my house because it has a teeny tiny leaf growing.. but I just love my little weirdo 💚 Hope you have a great week.. Get lots of rest.. and YES PLEASE on the video for this plant..
Your boo bie cactus is growing thin because it’s a top cutting. It’s pretty normal for a cactus cutting to grow thinner. Myrtillocactus are actually vigorous growers. You can get a lot of growth per year, but they need a large pot and full sun. Your pot is way too small. Columnar cacti do need a large pot if you want them to grow fast. They also need water when they’re actively growing. You can get a solid foot of growth on a Myrtillocactus every year. Heat is also important. These can’t stand cold. They go dormant as soon as the temperatures drop.
Ahhh thanks for sharing these with us! Those euphorbia are so bizarre! The guentheri is too cute!!! And that globosa is so bizarre, and I want one now!!!
Hi, I got per chance a variegated rabbit foot fern among unvarigated at a store and it's really very easy and beautiful 😍 Platyceriums are also very nice to have 😊thank you for your video ❤
Love the oddballs! Keep that baby cooking girl. I had strong BH early on too but went full-term with both my babies. If you’re concerned at all or have any other signs, go get checked out.
I hope you don’t stress yourself over lint 😉 If you are only using this first filming angle for the whole video, I don’t know if I would have noticed it HAHA
Such a fun video. I am contemplating the decaryi. I was so scared to get weird plants but now that I’m using self watering and mostly semi hydro it’s stepped up my game. Even my ramulosa is getting back to the way it was when I bought it 😅 girl you are a queen. 1:12 tune in if you want to hear the longest plant name in the universe 😂🙌
Oh, I love seeing weirdo plants. This made me wonder though. Why have I never seen a giant boobie cactus? I just searched and didn’t see one over a couple feet. 🤷🏾♀️ I have a rabbits foot fern that I put in a moss ball about 5 years ago and I’ve neglected it so bad I should be ashamed. That thing is a survivor! I literally keep it outside all year (in NC coastal weather) and never water it. It doesn’t look great or have a lot of leaves but it’s still alive so it’s really hard to kill. 😅
Today is my daughter's birthday (32😭) so I've been reminiscing all day lol.💜 But you're reminding me of when I was pregnant w/my son. Probably starting at 7mos I had braxton hicks ALL THE TIME and I went into timetable contractions twice! I had to be admitted to have them stopped because he sat so low I kept getting UTI's and I needed IV antibiotics. That was causing the contractions....the little shit.🤦🏽♀️😂 Hang in there and sleep as much as you can now!!!🤗
I have smelled a corpse flower! To me it smelled like trash, like when your trash cans get hot in the summer😂 Also i bought a cissus quadrangularis today! Because of you! I can't wait to see it grow like yours. (I hope!)
Are you in Canada? I am in Alberta Canada, and That nursery, is only one of a couple I can Order from on-line. Waiting for 3 plants to come soon. Love The Booby Cactus. I heard somewhere on-line, that if you touch the Booby Cactus, the marks from your fingers never go away?
You did just fine with the plant views... Where did you get the floating shelf behind you with the single plant on from? I've been searching for a sturdy floating shelf to put individual plants on
Hey you loved the content. Are you OK? You sounded a bit out of breath today? You should be relaxing more. I'm sure we should be going at your pace. Look after yourself and Archie ❤❤
