Blue gem in toad village might be a result of not having placed it elsewhere yet and leaving it in level 1, as was the case with Crash 2, which they built off of. However, I would be surprised if it kept the same coding to check if you avoided hitting any boxes to spawn it, I imagine that would require updating where the colored gem spawns, and I doubt they would take the time to do that unless they were considering having level 1 be the blue gem level again that early on...
This was such a trip. Everything I thought I knew from 20 years of playing this game is just flipped on it's head. I love that this stuff exists out there!
Finally !, another build earlier than the alpha version, by the way I love your videos, I really enjoyed them and to me, your laugh is unique and special I also love your reactions !, the only thing I dont like about your crash gameplay is that you missed a lot of wumpa fruits 😅 Honestly, you're among my favourite gamers on youtube and I appreciate your lovely videos about crash, finally I wish you in advance a wonderful new year with full of success, full of health and everything that is more beautiful ! ❤🎉
I have noticed that the clock counts in 0, 3 and 6. That wouldnormally mean its NTSC, but, NTSC version counts in 0,3,6 and 9. This prototype does not. So certainly, I wonder how they made the DEV TIMES, given some times ended with a 7. Level 19 - Future Frenzy for example. 1:07:47 I legit doubt the legality of their times now more than ever.
A couple of things I noticed: The blue gem is in the first level, like in Crash 2. Maybe try getting 0 boxes? There was talk about the different gem sound. Pretty sure that's just from Crash 2. Silver, gold, and platinum relics, not sapphire.
It's crazy that he wanted to make back part of what he paid so he didn't lose money on the disc? What's crazy is how stupid your comment is. That "loser" is now $2000 richer, because that's how this prototype even got released. Get stuffed.
why are you constantly expressing faux surprise every 5 seconds - "why is x here, that's not usually here?" - it's a prototype, pretty sure that's a given.
6:40 Have you noticed how Coco's icon actually looks slightly different from the final game? Also, Crash's icon in the Japanese version is the same as it was in this build (where his eyes are crossed). The different Coco icon is exclusive to this prototype, though. Edit: I think how you get the blue gem in Toad Village in this prototype is the same as it was in Turtle Woods in Crash 2. Don't break any of the boxes. And Crash still has his idle animation from Crash 2 in this build, but they removed it in the final release (Crash 3, not Crash 2) and gave him multiple unique ones instead. 2nd edit: I didn't know that there were shortened names of the bosses next to the times. Another thing that's exclusive to this prototype. I also didn't know that the bosses actually had times (e.g. TNY - 2:00.00 in Toad Village).
