FILM DESCRIPTION:
An American with a Japanese upbringing, Chris Kenner (Dolph Lundgren) is a police officer assigned to the Little Tokyo section of Los Angeles. Kenner is partnered with Johnny Murata (Brandon Lee), a Japanese-American who isn't in touch with his roots. Despite their differences, both men excel at martial arts, and utilize their formidable skills when they go up against Yoshida (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), a vicious yakuza drug dealer with ties to Kenner's past.

yeah, back in the days when we could actually see all actors' whole body and see those cool kicks and movement unlike these days where every actions are so zoomed in and each angle and scene are cut every split second and hard to see what the heck is going on.

The first time seeing this left me blown away. I didn’t know what to expect, but by the end of the movie, I knew Brandon Lee was *the rising star of the 90’s.* because of his incredible talent. This movie is sadly underrated but it’s an action classic because of Brandon Lee; that’s the only reason why I watched this movie. I love him so much. 😭❤️❤️

He and his fiancé were then attacked and tragically killed on Devil’s Night a day short of their upcoming nuptials. One year later, Eric was resurrected from the dead and assumed the form of his alter ego The Crow, to avenge his and his fiancé’s deaths...and the rest is history.

I think the truth is a little more humble ... he got a bodyguard / babysitting gig and then somebody figured he had muscle and a European accent and wasn't too expensive so threw him in a couple of movies.

Commander Bond Yeah, totally, even cheesy low grade stuff had a bit more substance to it, a bit more composition and editing that emphasised the action and didn’t just obscure it by jump cutting every half second.

Today you got tons of actors who have no prior martial arts background do some fighting + stuntmen, so the scenes are completely over the top. The ones that can actually fight and don't require stuntmen are in the minority, with CGI and shaky cameras taking over. Ridiculous.

I liked Brandon's acting. He had a unique style of being kinda goofy and cool at the same time. I don't think he would have pulled off John Wick with the same intensity as Keanu.

As straight to home video movies go this is still one of the best. All star cast and some familiar co stars. Dolph Lundgren and Brandon Lee shine on screen together. Cary Tagawa always a good classic villain. Typical 90's action film. 👍

@milster I do...But I also happen to like martial arts because I was raised by a protective father who wanted his girls to be tough and capable of handling themselves so Instead of barbies I got Mortal Kombat and the Ninja Turtles and any barbies I did get lost their hair, heads, clothes, etc...So I also watch them because they are my father's heroes and I take notes from them...

You forgot the terrific Fantasy Action Revenge Super hero movie The Crow. 1 of the greatest Revenge movies, comic book super hero movies, action movies, and 1 of the greatest movies of all time which is why it freakin should not be remade. Hollywood should improve bad or terrible movies with great concepts that were not executed right for remakes including The Guyver, Ghost Rider, Daredevil, The Wraith, Double Dragon, The Phantom, The Shadow, etc.
