I like how Sasha is firm and authoritative with him when he escapes yet not mean or abusive. A good lesson in how to be an animal parent! They in many ways are alot like children. :)
You have to introduce them to it when they are kittens and young is best and easiest...slowly, gently and with care. My rottie was afraid of the ocean...I let him be afraid...didn't force anything...but using distraction and play I got him to absolutely love the water and playing with his favorite ball...soon he forgot about the sound of the surf and was enjoying it so much that everytime I opened the doors to my car...guess who got in and wouldn't come out in hopes of going to the beach again. es he's a dog but same principles apply to cats...just may take more time and care.
Play with cat in bathroom with just a little water in tub...let cat decide how fast to progress...force nothing...maybe just turn on the tap as a slow drip...let cat play.
It’s cause cats have thicker fur than dogs and there little bodies can’t stand the heavy weight of water on there fur Which causes them to freak out which is why they tend to stay away from water
@@ryden_jasso thats kinda bs to be honest. the only reason cats usually dont like to bath is because in the bathroom they cant get a hold. add a mat made of rubber on the bottom and youre fine. cats are perfect swimmers and can swim from the beginning of their life. they dont hate water and theyre also pound for pound AS strong as a freaking tiger lol. dogs dont even come close when it comes to body strength. you gotta learn the basics if you want to get your cat to do what you want it to do
He didn't like it at all, but he knew he was being cared for and on some level appreciated it. He knows quite well that he is loved a great deal. You've turned your home into a cat heaven. Kudos to you!
I never tire of this clip. Funny as hell to see Messi escape and then the closest we may have seen of him getting in trouble. Messi entering his little cubby hole is so reminiscent of a little boy going to his treehouse and putting the keep out sign up. When Sasha tells him not to hiss at him, I just die laughing. Telling a puma to stop hissing like it is nothing. When Messi was growling when Sasha was trying to dry him off, I was like, Sasha is a brave man bc I would be scared of my house cats, let alone a big puma
Just love how he constantly talking to Messi i know it keeps him calm he is such a good dad. Sasha thank you for being 👍Masha your the same 😇 I needed Messi excape i have a bad day but u two making me laugh Messi knew he was doing wrong Thank u, thank u,thank u💖 Messi u r special kiddo😂 This is the best video in entire series The episode with Messi and the hose funny
@@hdgdjgsgfj1297 I was literally rolling around laughing. They should consider making a comedy real life series or a cartoon series (English version please) based on real life incidents like this! 🤣🤣🤣 ❤️❤️ Still laughing, really!!
@@GoldCatPrincess Actually, if you think about it all the videos are like episodes of a tv series (regardless of the language) also since these videos are on YT this means that you can rewatch them as many times as you like while also being able to communicate with other fans. So let's enjoy the Internet's version of Messi's adventures.
This is amazing so good oh my lord what I would luv him ik his owners do.n he knows it n doesn't even seem to have wild instincts jus wants luv as should be to think ppl hurt these beautiful majestic calm souls God bless.
I had a house cat that would get in the shower with me and just rub up against my legs. I think she just loved being around people so much that she would endure the water for some lovins' lol
When ever I wash my house cat I have at least five band aids on afterwards. What a great job with this big cat, he's so gentle and happy it's amazing. You guys are amazing cat parents.
Behind this funny and so lovely footage we know how many hours of training , some expensive,, some exhausting ,often boring ,funny sometimes but all the process requiried infinite patience, deep knowledge of cat' s behaviour and unconditional LOVE .. MESSY, your family may be PROUD. !!!!!
Thanks for sharing this; he's beautiful! I got a good laugh when he escaped his shower; though I'm amazed how well trained he is because wouldn't wild cats attack?
Yes indeed, I didn't like showers either when I was 5-years-old; I cried! 😫😫 How on earth can a 100 pound cougar tolerate a bath 10 times better than my 7 pound domestic cat?! I'm jealous.
@@lowkeylonely4265 But it was Daddy who demanded this with Mommy standing by, so he had to go along ... to a point ... As friendly as he is, I don't think anyone else could get the same cooperation.
I do hope Messi's Mum and Dad realise what an absolute "star" they have in this beautiful cat. He's SO calm, relaxed, loyal, and friendly. Throughout all the videos with regard to this lovely Puma, Messi has never "disgraced" himself. This Russian couple are so, so fortunate to originally have found this animal for sale before any harm came to him, which we are told was a possibility in view of his poor health at the time. To see Messi now being SO happy with his family makes the awful possibility of what could have happened to him, a (thankfully) far and distant memory. Good luck to you all in the future, from your fans and supporters here in the U.K. August, 2020 🤗 xxx
@@wards1fan Ichel died of cancer, a few weeks before she passed they finally found out what was wrong with Ichel, she had a brain tumor and it had spread throughout her whole body. There was nothing they could do and just provided hospice care until she passed. Ichel was probably already severely sick when Masha & Sasha rescued her, it was probably the reason why the other cheetah's picked on her. Animals know when something is wrong and they probably knew lang before Ichel was transferred. At least Ichel's final months were months where she experienced true love and we have to be grateful for that. There's a video about Ichel's passing somewhere in april or so.
@@Bralo20 I read that it was lung cancer that spread throughout her body. This is first reference to brain cancer. Don't think it was in her brain or she would not have survived so long.
@@suzanneyoung8011 I too read lung cancer. Though brain cancer can be survived for years. I had a siamese mix who suddenly had seizures; cognitive changes had been put down to "old age"; I cut her pills in quarters, she took one piece twice a day, and was back to normal until one more long series of seizures. They worked so hard to identify and treat Ichel's problems and made so much progress to have this one more suddenly show itself too late. RIP Ichel.
@@suzanneyoung8011 You're probably right, I'm probably mixing it up with my uncle's brain tumor. So my bad. I'm getting old, my memory is going bad :D :D
@@sherryjohnson2152 My late father spoke very good Russian. He could read and write it too. He went to evening classes back in the late 1960s. He studied every day at home between classes which were weekly. He bought novels written in Russian. He was quite linguistic and could speak, read and write fluent Spanish and also German. My father was in the Royal Navy during WWII. He would often go round Aberdeen docks (Scotland) as the sea never really left him. One evening there was a Russian cargo ship in port. He started speaking to one of the deckhands who told my father to wait. He went and got his Captain and my father was invited aboard ship as the Captain's guest. The Captain said my father was the first British person he'd met who could speak Russian. This was long before mobile (cell) phones so he couldn't let my mother know where he was. Well, a few bottles of vodka later and eating raw herring, reminiscing about their time in their respective navies during WWII my father eventually rolled home very drunk at around 4am. My mother didn't speak to him for a week. Many years later and my brother and I still laugh about that night. I think being dedicated to learning the language, finding a good teacher whether that's a private teacher or through college is a good way to start. There are also some good online courses available, some free but practice and learn it every day.
