I think a lot of uk ppl get confused with the aus drill scene been so much like uk drill and they think we copy but coming from someone who’s lived in both country’s n has family in uk aus n uk have very similar street culture and slang and I think when uk ppl hear it they go “oh we say that over here so he’s copying us” but tbh in syd we have been dressing like this n talking like this since 90s and yes ofc maybe same words are uk like ting n Ching or whatever but most of the slang n style is aus just had to put that out there cause I’ve had so many arguments with uk man went I lived there cause they would say why u dressing like a roadman u from aus but rly it’s how n dress n talk since I was young

I agree with chazza the bars and flow by hooks are hectic. I'm just tired of hearing about how aus drill artist run the ball their ops arnt about that life seeing the same visuals in the film clips with flares, cars and a gang of boys that are probably on new start.

I'm just saying when one four came out with the message the busy visuals were like something I never seen before maybe it's the way it was edited but it just drew me in and made me want to see more. They then stayed with the recipe that worked and backed it up with spot the difference and then changed it up with lads in the hood when most people were following what they had already done making them stand out even more than the rest.

Generic and predictable. Good acting, hats off to them all for blowing up. Drill and grime don’t sit well with Australian acts if you ask me, grime will always be unique to the UK. aus hip hop is one of them odd scenes where the most popular are quite often the most talentless. And the best often go unheard.
