I bought the Spiral Bible in WEB translation for my one year reading Bible next year - never heard of that translation but I like going through a different translation each year though I will use another Bible for church as I like hving hte entire Bible in one nad the Spiral one has I htink 5 notebooks LOL!
Additional Bibles I would recommend to you for deep study is The Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible, The Archaeological Study Bible, the Holy Land Illustrated Bible, The NLT Illustrated Study Bible and a Bible Atlas.
Thanks for sharing your collection Kendall! It's nice to see you are working through different translations! My current main Bible is the ESV Study Bible, (lots of notes in it now...) and I just ordered MacArthur's NASB Study Bible. I enjoy it when a publishing company combines the varied translations and portions of commentaries I like into a Study Bible. It makes me pull out my "older Bibles" to compare/contrast to my newer ones. It's not just the varied translations, and the varied commentaries..but also, my personal notes from years past that help me continually find new nuggets of gold! Have you gotten into commentaries yet? Still...I HAVE to say...sharing our lives/experiences with each other is the biggest life lesson commentary available!
