MY CURRENT BIBLE COLLECTION || FAVORITE RESOURCES 

I am very blessed that I happened across an ESV study bible at goodwill. It retails for $80 (olive, Celtic cross) in the box with no marking. The beautiful woman that day at the checkout looks at it, looks at me, and says “looks like a softcover to me”. $0.99!!!

My first bible is the same one!!! It's still sitting on my shelf. Mine is KJV and I remember being so frustrated trying to read it 😂 What a blessing to grow up in a church! I wish I had that experience growing up. I always believed in God, by His grace, but I wasn't raised in church or taken to church unless my Grandmother visited. She only visited the U.S. a handful of times to see family, but when it was our turn to have her for the week, I would be so excited to go church hopping with her and would forever bother her with a million questions!🤣 You have such a lovely collection! The hosanna bibles are so gorgeous!!I love the ESV and the huge study bible. That study bible is basically seminary in a small package! I recently purchased my first CSB after living in ESV for years. I fell in love with it! It's so easy to read and wonderful for scripture reading with my little one.

Amazing, I love watching people's Bible study collection and how they study the Bible to help me along on my walk with the Lord.

I can relate to your testimony especially about the depression and coming back to The Lord and the comforting presence of Jesus

My first Bible was a pocket-sized light pink New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs, and it zipped. My aunt and uncle gave it to my parents for me at birth, and it had my full name imprinted in gold on the front cover. I used to look through it even before I could read. It had a few pictures throughout that were beautiful paintings of Biblical scenes. I remember one was of a shepherd boy with a lamb in his arms. Although I don't recall now, it was probably a picture of David as a boy. Thank you for sharing your faith and Bibles. I would love to hear more about your testimony.

Was so looking forward to this ♥️ I honestly searched your channel this morning for an update. I lost my mom a week before Christmas, 1995. I was raised Catholic, not strict at all because mom didn’t want to raise us like she was from birth so she didn’t force Church on us or religion. Great granny used to talk to us about the Bible, but mom read us the Bible so we were formally introduced to God at an early age ☺️ I honestly liked going to church with mom so it was our thing. When mom died, I was lost, my world stopped. I was functioning, but with no purpose, how was I living? I left our church, my family, set out wandering and where was I going? I worked 75-80+ hours a week. Well, about a year later on a cold, snowy, Sunday morning in January something inside me said go to church. What? Where was this coming from? There was literally 20 inches of snow on the ground. I turned on the tv and went in the kitchen to make coffee in mom’s Mr. Coffee pot. Church 😂 You’d of thought I was drinking the night before, but I don’t drink. I made coffee and went in the living room, and walked over to my big bay window. Neighbors still had Christmas lights up. The voice on the television right next to me said, God doesn’t leave us, we leave Him. He promised to … and I said out loud, never leave us nor forsake us. I looked down to a middle aged man with dark gray hair, big glasses and a blue gray suit. I went back to the kitchen shaking my head. What did that old man say, out from the kitchen, coffee in hand, the man said, let me say it again, God does not leave us, we leave Him. And I heard, go to church just as loud as ever and I was home alone. Dr. Charles F. Stanley was the middle aged man. I say this to say, God will call His back to Him, Amen. He will never give up on us ♥️ You have a wonderful collection.

I loveeee the Spurgeon Bible. It’s my comfort Bible! His commentary, along with the Word of course, have gotten me through some very rough seasons 🩷

I so can relate... I lost my best friend and my relationship with God kind of went south during that. I also had panic attacks ! Even when we don't feel like he's there..he's there. He's always near us ! ❤

The life application Bible is nice. Would be nice to have one

I love the Life Application study Bible. Mine is 20 + yrs old

19:41 for a more true study bible I recommend the He Reads Truth Bible lol. It has way more actual study materials in it. I have been seeing that the Bibles catering to women have more fluff and devotionals instead of deep study. Those catering to men or general study Bibles offer more deep study material.

The Bible for your son and those free coloring and activity sheets are probably plenty of curriculum for a 3 year old. I homeschooled my 3 kids and I had 1 over-all goal - teach them to read and comprehend but to LOVE reading. If he can read and understand, he can teach himself anything. BUT pushing any subject too soon and too hard turns kids off. So the reading and coloring with him is excellent. And, of course, read to him constantly. Cheers, hugs, and prayers for a successful homeschool - NOT school at go,e - experience. Recommended homeschool reading - any book by Dr. Raymond Moore.

I recently "came back" (i didnt leave Jesus but I was incredibly unappreciative) and was in the wilderness as I call it, after about 10 years after I left my church. When I was on my knees with revelation I was filled with the hunger too! I didn't have the same bibles as I did before, and I invested in a CSB journaling bible. I was shook when I realized that notetaking bibles existed now, but was also traumatized when I realized that my prior knowledge about Jesus and the bible was gone (I went to school for ministry for 2 years but during my 10 years in the wilderness, I had brain surgery and trauma, and lost ALL my memories of my faith basically; this is truly because Christ needs to mold me from scratch again). After months of really struggling with my bible, my mom blessed me with a She Reads Truth for Christmas because she had seen me interested in a lot of content that used it. I haven't had the heart to really admit that no matter how much I try, I just do not vibe with it. I dont particularly like the CSB version, I think because my foundations were built on NIV and NSRV (I have one study bible its a Harper Collins; but its also not quite right for my current position in my studies). I love the ESV translation based on my experience reading it online but I have been really trying to make my CSB work. I have been hunting online for a better suited one for myself, I am looking for a study bible with wide margins OR a journaling bible and a study bible separate; but its so expensive. I'm zero income and dont have the heart to tell my mom that her splurge on the She Reads Truth is not my favorite lol. Your video really helped me feel validated in my testimony and also validated in my preference, lol. I have seen the Jesus Bible so much and I know I'd probably love that. Im looking for something thats a good mixture of scholarly and some commentary or input, bonus if it has content about questions or prayers. Your other videos have really helped me with my study methods too. Just wanted to say thank you for sharing
