You may kindly appreciate the personal choice may mostly differ. Lastly with deep pains I should mention to heigh light the historic as well as tragic truth. You may kindly agree and may not agree but the fact is Mr. Ghosh along with his some. fellow singers played an all-time dirty game and organized a conspiracy in visa Bharati Music Board against George Da to finish his magnificent carrier only out of jealousy . In the history they will remain as conspirators while George Da will remain as undeclared Monarch of Rabindra Sangeet. Best regards.
thats there personal fist fight. how can i feel about a rendition except for the singer's voice in it.in many songs i found george da better than ghosh. but in this particular song his version really quivers through my skin when i was alone somewhere in a hilltop. but for me if george is the monarch then ghosh is a lonely sage in rabindrasangeet, who stays out of the crowd & generates more nuances to the same old songs. listen amal dhabal by ghosh. i got the same feelings. but george got more success throughout his lifetime.
+TheArkaRoy Respected Mr. Roy, Many thanks for your kind reply containing arguments in favor of performance of Mr. Ghosh, in regard to that song is concerned, Your letter suggests that you are a knowledgeable person and also technically sound about music. Hence your arguments whether are accepted or not the same must be given due respect. Às regards me I have ño technical knowledge. I am only a very very common listener and like Rabindra Sangeet from my boyhood. As regards George Da, I have no hesitation in admitting to the fact that I am totally a blind follower of him from my boyhood and he is like my friend, philosopher and guide. No argument will work and the dispute between George Da and a section of artists were not settled during his lifetime and will never be settled despite the fact all the persons who were involved in the dispute are no more. +TheArkaRoy Respected MR. Roy You started your last reply stating that it was their personal fight. Is it so? The circumstances do not suggest like this. Had it been a personal problems they would have tackled the same at personal level. The moment the matter was brought to Music Board and the black steps taken by them by stopping recording recording the same in no circumstances falls within the purview of personal concept. The conspirators perhaps had the initial idea to make serious harm , possibly they retreated and applied the finest way by using Music Board. Their two important purposes were served. Firstly the conspirators were mainly against George Da for his highest income from Royalty. Secondly they could not tolerate the unprecedented popularity. They successfully managed to stop recording and by this way they committed a social crime for which the Rabindra Sangeet lovers who were very much after songs of George Da were deprived permanently . you avoided it nicely on the plea of personal matter and thus supported those persons who were misfit for any cultural affairs and they were basically against cultural activities other wise they would have not been involved in such a dirty game.
