You just saved me a lot of money with this video! This will shred the straw for my mushroom substrate perfectly! Bail shredders are expensive as hell. I owe you one buddy lol!

Seems if you made the exit holes smaller. You would not have to run the straw thru 5 times.

simon said can grow straw in 2+ months, also, rice farms should have rice straw.

That’s is the best way, because even if you grow it and shreds it you’ll still be missing out on the digestive enzymes that act as a bio polymer. Thus naturally hardening your mix.
