especially because he has to rob around on his knees almost the whole time which..if you do it yourself you'll find isn't quite pleasant at all.the whole time I thought "how can you keep up that smile man .__."
This is the most lethargic audience I've ever seen, some of this stuff is really funny and it's a good production, they just aren't laughing or clapping very much
+dalton barlow If you look closely on the right side at the end, there was a guy with an applause sign. This could imply that this was a deaf production and the audience didn't really know when to clap.
My local arts center is doing a play for Shrek the musical. I'm a Duloc performer and its the funnest thing ever! Only problem is that smiling for 4 minutes straight during rehearsal hurts your face...
I was lord farquaad as well for this year :D amazing role, everyone had the laughs with my 'short' legs. I'm a female so some people actually thought I was a guy XD interesting to see someone else's perception of how lord farquaad should be like
JashKev Hey, that's cool! I know this is one year after this post, but I actually just finished my town's Shrek The Musical, and I was also Lord Farquaad! How was your play?
tippingtophat Because some of the things are really funny and the audience isn’t laughing or clapping very much and when they do clap it’s like “ok we’re done with that can we go on now?”
why does the choreography literally look like Kiss Me Kate and Crazy For You had a very discouraged child? and there's one male duloc dancer who is soooo into it haha
I went to see this at my local theatre and right as lord farquad was coming out of his castle, someone up in one of the balcony’s started having a heart attack and the show stopped until paramedics arrived. All the lights turned on and Lord Farquad just slowly backed up into the castle doors as they shut 🤭
We’re doing Shrek the musical at my school and I love all the costumes exept the duloc performers *IM A DULOC PERFORMER AND THE MUSICAL IS LESS THAN A WEEK*
People are too loud and everybody complains they're ruining the experience. People are too quiet and everybody complains they're not appreciative enough.
oh, so this is the video my teacher used while teaching us the choreography before we got our own tracks! you can always tell when an actor loves their role, and this farquaad is considering marriage
okay, so why doesnt anyone mention the "Wicked" easter egg in this song? its my favorite part of this entire musical and no one else cares about it but me??? what is this madness?
If you look closely when the woman is picked up by two men, her hair falls off and she has to put it back on. Random thing, but I just randomly happened to notice.
