Many never sat for SHRM and were given a lifetime designation (because they held the PHR) never requiring recertification. Personally, if choosing only 1, I prefer PHR over SHRM.
Thank you so much for this very clear video. I'm very new to the HR world and making the decision for which certification to work towards has been been overwhelming.
Love it.. thank you so much! I teach both and I have both certifications and feel both are good to have. You nailed it on the differences.. thank you so much!
It’s not about which is better it is about the focus of each the exam. I’ve already answered this. The SHRM is situation and behavioral based which is better for those who have had some experience. The PHR is more law and factual based. This questions usually have 1 way answers.
Thank you so much for this video! I have a Bachelors in Psych and in the future would like a masters in Industrial psych. Before I pursue my masters, I would like to work in the field of HR and am currently trying to decide which certification is best for me. Is having management experience considered HR experience?
Thank you for the good video. I'm thinking about getting a SHRM certificate in talent acquisition.how useful is that in finding a job ? I'm doing an HR program in college now.
