I 200% know the "sussy sounds" are her giving out the little "guhu~" or "auh~" sound when you attempt to overfill your lungs to stretch them and relax them. As an asthmatic, when I can't get to my inhaler super fast (yes I know it should always be on me, sometimes it's not OKAY!) I also breath deep and hold, and you can make some funny noises when some of it tries to escape. Yes, both sound exactly as sussy as you think they would given 0 context. xD

Something that 100% works when I have hiccups is you just need just 1 glass of water, then slowly gulp once every two seconds, basically like extending the time to drink a glass of water to 15-20 seconds

The water trick works for me.

A trick that tends to work for me is laying down on my back and having my head at the edge of a bed and make my head upside down. You then drink water while youre in this position. If it didnt work once, try doing it one more time.

I actually do the same thing! Kinda just discovered it when I got a hiccup while eating and I was too lazy to get up and grab a glass of water. It works better than the water trick honestly.

As far as i have seen, it seems the cause of hiccups varies with person. For me hiccups are caused by air trapped in the gullet trying to escape so all i need to do is get a few burps out and im fine :v

covering your nose while drinking water is my go-to hiccup stopper (kinda dangerous to suggest to people though if you don't explain how to execute it)

The trick is to reach over your head, grab your earlobe and pull down, then seaplane repeatedly. Drink something while doing so for extra effectiveness. Has never failed to cure my hiccups, even if it looks absolutely ridiculous

if you want to stop hiccups just take 1 spoon of sugar then melt it in your mouth the sugar will help relaxes the organ or whatever cause hiccups

Here's a "remedy" for hiccups, taught by a doctor to me. He said that eating a tablespoon of sugar helps. I had a hiccup not long ago, tried it and it worked! Hiccups instantly vanished. (I'm not kidding, this is a legit trick. Not for diabetic though, but I guess a spoonful of sugar shouldn't be that bad.)
