Sort of a journal update: stupid move of mine ... I didn't charge this morning because I had about 80% charge still... I got out about 16 miles and noticed I had unusually low voltage for the amount of distance I went. I figured I went a little farther than I planned to yesterday and just didn't realize. When I got home, I went to pull the key out of the underside of the bike and I couldn't find it! And I was like, Where TF is it?! I really didn't want to cover the whole trail. I looked up as I was closing my door to my place and I saw it on the hook. I never took it with me 😂. So I was basically just using two of my three batteries that I run in parallel. I guess I'm going to have to make a pilot's checklist before I leave the door .😅 Regardless, the shunt mod did not blow my controller... But I'm still hungry for more acceleration. And honestly I want more top speed. I think I might just start shopping for a different bike. Sure I could beef this one up and speed it up but in the end all the upgrade parts would just cost as much as another bike. So I'll save this one for my long distance commuter. Maybe I'll just sell it I don't know yet. I might tinker with it some more and just do random journal updates. People don't really tend to check my RU-vid anyways so this is mostly for myself. But if anyone is reading.... 👋
