Shure SM57 vs Shure 545SD // Snare 

This video is gold. It's exactly what I would expect and got in the studio on the snare. the combo of a 57 on top and the 545sd on the bottom is the best with these mics.

For me, the big takeaway is that anything you can do with one, you can do with the other-they’re both excellent!

Sounds like we have all fallen for more Marketing Hype… but I doo like the 545 has more Tone Character of the Hi Hats. Maybe my new Hat Mic.
