Shure SM7B & Zoom F3 

Thank you very much for uploading this. I've been on RU-vid all day searching for this answer, and now I can confidently buy the Zoom F3

I mean, it sounds insanely good. And for a non treated room is almost professional radio quality. I am a proud owner of the zoom f3 (what a beast) and thinking about the sm7b. By the way, may I ask about the arm? Which one are you using? And the orangeish.. holder at the botton of the mic/arm? It looks really different! New subscriber !

Thanks. I have a Rode Procaster which is nearly as hungry as the SM7B. Use am SE Dynamite on my interface (64db native gain) for an additional 28db. So a total of 92db of gain. The Rode wants 55-60db of gain… good to hear the Zoom F3 handles it easily.

Hey thanks for this video. I just had 2 SM7B's delivered and connected to the F3. I was pretty shocked to see that I needed to go all the way up to the max gain (x1024) to make it sound decent. I also have a Sennheiser 416 and it only needs to be at x32. Can someone help me understand how it could be that different?
