They need interactions together. So do Nasus and Ornn, would be nice to see them relate to having a younger sibling who was once on their side wanting them dead.
Voli still have love for Ornn but is too prideful to sit down and have a lil chat, Ornn have a grundge against him cuz Voli kill his followers, Renek is insane but Nasus will heal his mind and together they will destroy Xerath.
@@CM_Kha Probably too soon. Would spoil the lore plot. Shurima expansion in LoR spans the whole year, and there're still 2 more. Xerath may be introduced in the next (or next next) expansion.
I like how Nasus still call his Baccai followers brother and sister despite the fact that they are failed Ascended, actually took them in and give them jobs, very kind of him consider that they are regard as abomination by most people.
I mean it's just common sense. They are still better than any normal humans. And he need their power to deal with Xerath. Not saying he wasn't kind, but giving them a job is definitely an easy choice
Baccais are deformed but they still could have some of an ascended, but not as potent as an ascended... So I can see that it is logical for Nasus to utilize them instead of shunning them like Shurimans do...
Nasus gives off the older brother who doesn't look like he cares, but really cares for his little brother vibe, wish they would update Renektons and Nasus's lore a bit match the current state of events
I think currently they have fine lore, maybe a short story or two between the two in the past would be good. However as it stands currently, the most recent lore we have is Sylas & Winter's claw, The ruination, and Spirit Blossom in Ionia. Otherwise everything regarding Shurima so far (excluding Renekton's new story) is relatively like 8ish years in the past? Azir revived Sivir and the Sun Disc a few years back, so now this new lore of Azir's soldiers and captains are really nice to see. I think if they were to update Shurima lore it would have to be something like the Ruination, where it is kind of a focus they have for a year, given it's quite a major plot point.
@@mohamedabdullahi3914 It has always been so, and also not. Ren's bio doesn't mention him working with Azir, nor Xerath. And nothing mentions them (as in Nasus, Renekton and Azir) having met.
I had a very similar want to this. It would be really cool to have a sort of "redeemed" version. I think the best place for it would be a Legendary Guardian of the Sands Renekton or something. It's Shuriman but still has a shinier look. Or a unique skin entirely but League hasn't done that in a very long time excluding Volibear. Getting a GoS Nasus with Renekton would be cool too as I feel like they should have more relatable skins than Just Scorched and Infernal.
@@ferrissmith3517 Now that would conflict with main lore. If one day Renekton and Nasus reconciled, that would render your Guardian of the Sands skin(-line) both thematically and story-wise useless. (Also Pharaoh Nasus exists already - 2 sand-themed skins seem unnecessary) I don't think Riot would create an alternative universe for the two either~. They have A LOT of contents to move Shurima story forward: the brothers, Xerath, Icathia/the Void, Ixtal(?), the underworld (by LoR expansion), etc... Would be too much for developing two universes that aren't uniquely distinct.
I just love the sound of Nasus’s voice. It’s like deep and calm, yet intimidating. Could listen to him talk all day. Edit: Also I love the Baccai voices and interactions. If this game had a mmo would love to become an Ascended.
@@jacobscott7261But in LoL his voice is deeper and he speaks more slowly. It's more akin to Morgan Freeman's voice, slow because he got all the time, methodical because he's wise.
Actually though, in the recent story “With Teeth”, Riot implies Renekton still has somewhat respect to Nasus, just exactly like how a little brother respect the older one. When others taints the past accomplishment of Nasus, Renekton gets so angry, and there are some reminiscing vibes from Renekton’s quote. Very well done narrative.
Also in that story he leaves the Sandthrashers and clearly says he has no interest in leading them. I’m curious how he ends up changing his mind as they show here.

Yeah considering that it's a lvl 3 Nasus he probably has a lot more attack and hp than Renekton and his ability lower Renekton's attack by 3 and he can block Renekton's ability with his spellshield. So yeah Renekton is pretty fucked.
Not gonna lie, just hearing the dialogue between Zilean's followers makes me super excited to hear his interactions and to see what the void would be like as a region.
Renekton and Nasus' interaction is seriously breaking my heart! ToT They're such tragic characters but it's also what makes them great... I feel bad for saying that. XC
Its interesting to see the personality change in Nasus when he hits level 3. Its not huge, but its almost like he has moved on. He has accepted the loss of his brother, and almost seems to find peace in renektons fall. "Mortal ties...." "See you beyond." "In death, Freedom..." (< thats the best example honestly. He is free from the battle between him and renekton.) "the cycle continues".

I love Khahiri's lines, him and the other time scientists. Especially the lines with two allied Khahiri's, "sigh, I was so careful not to create a paradox..." 🤣😂🤣
How cool is it that Nasus grows more apathetic and callous as he ascends and gains more power. There's a moral in there... Lvl 3 Nasus doesn't even feel grief when lvl 1 Renekton dies...
As a Nasus main since S1 and lore enthusiast, I only see three outcomes: 1) Renekton kills Nasus and realizes how wrong he was and that Xerath won. Either Renekton throws himself into battle until he is kileld himself or completely loses his last sanity, wandering through the desert like Nasus did before, carrying his debt and probably breaking to it. 2) Nasus kills Renekton to end his suffering. Nasus will be very sad, but also at ease that his brother is freed of his torment. And will swear revenge on Xerath to destroy him for what he did to Renekton. 3) Nasus and Renekton face off and fight hard. Either Nasus overpowers Renekton and tries his best to beat some sense into Renekton, maybe at near death. Or Renekton has the upper hand in a very close fight and seeing Nasus close to death makes him snap out of this. I think this is the story everyone probably wants. It is very hard to solve their storyline without any strange deus ex machinas or plot twists.
I’m super excited for more stories on the research/chronomancy characters - Kahiri, the twins, the apprentice and Zilean. I love the direction their going with him.
