Last time I walked in State Street was in 1998. I used to go to the Q's bar and get a green smoothie the Blenders in the Grass juice bar, 720 ST Street. That was during a french business school trip, we lived near in Goleta. Like the dolphins fontain at the end of State Street. I'll be back soon.

Did you get a chance to visit the Mission? The Santa Barbara Zoo? It is beautiful, and began as a private Estate. :) Part of my family is there. One just got married in June, on Stearns Wharf. :) My Sis was married there in 84. After the ceremony at Church, we went down State Street in a horse drawn carriage to the reception at the beach facility. Another couple also just gotten married that day, and were coming up State Street on the opposite side. We all stopped next to each other, had a toast of champagne! They popped up through the sunroof in their limo! LOL! All the tourist joined in on the fun! SO much fun! Forget So Cal, the Central Coast is awesome! :)

I plan to go to grad sch and live there some day. I love the cozy vibe. I can't live in a buzzling city like LA. Am almost done with college here in Houston, I can't wait to go to grad sch at UCSB. And join the amazing community there. Please, can you make a video of UCSB when you have time?
