That's awesome ❤.. I've brought dogs back from Mexico too, a mom and her pup exhausted and hungry scavenging in a little dump in Tecate! SO many homeless dogs down there; some seem kind of ok, in villages laying on restaurant patios getting fed by tourists etc., but very many not 😢💔😢, and no way to save them all of course.

I have a Coco however mine is a chihuahua. Your Coco is just lovely and so dedicated to your son. Pities contrary to most opinions seems to me to be loving and protective of their family and more often than not great with kids and people.

I fell in love with the breed when I first seized an abused pit puppy from a neighbor. Had several since and a few pit mixes. They've become my favorite breed.

"Those children were everything to them, and they just have a really long journey ahead." Canfield said Cheech and Mia had been with the family for eight years. There is no such thing as a "nanny dog." They're called pitbulls because the were bred to fight bulls in pits.

@@threadripper979Any breed of dog can be aggressive if the owner teaches them to be. A neighbor had a golden lab that he taught to attack anyone or anything that came too close to the fence surrounding his property. The puppy was friendly with the neighbors but the owner would discipline the dog and eventually the dog learned that its owner was only happy when he was aggressive. Dogs want to please their owners and like children, they learn what they live. My husband’s aunt had a “cute” Cocker Spaniel named Muffin that decided one day that she didn’t like her and attacked her. She came within an inch of severing her femoral artery while she was attacking her. She was able to pull her off and call an ambulance. She called animal control and they took the dog and euthanized it. She wasn’t provoked, she just went off the wall. We had a pitbull mix girl and she was never aggressive to anyone or anything. Our grandkids could pull her tail,ears, jump on her and she never growled or anything. Our miniature Schnauzer on the other hand couldn’t be trusted with the grandkids. He snapped at them when they got too close. We had to keep him kenneled when they visited.
