Love this lad, from a fringe player signed on the cheap by Klopp to one of the best signings we have made in years. We're always gutted when he doesn't play, that's how much of an impact he's made on us in a very short space of time! It just goes to show you don't need to spend a fortune buying quality players, sometimes you just have to give people a chance. YNWA

Andy is such a nice lad, we're very pleased to have him at Anfield. A frequent statement among LFC fans is that we feel Andy plays with all the heart and enthusiasm we ourselves would, if we were as good as him at footy. THAT is why he got his own song so quickly,why the fans took to him so quickly: nice lad, plays with heart and boundless energy.

Amazing to think that Celtic let Andy go , but of course they had Keiran Tierney coming through as well . Robertson is arguably the best left back Liverpool has ever had , and I go back a long way .

A perfect example of Scottish teams almost denying a talented young lad a career in the game based on size not ability. Scottish football does produce good young players, unfortunately a large percentage are let go aged 16-22 before they are given the chance to peak. We have 4 divisions of bang average football ! We last qualified for an international tournament in 1998, it’s 2020 ffs. We do the same things over and over. Change the top league to 16 teams this gives the managers a chance to give young players a chance and have two lower divisions of 18/20 teams and allow the same in the Lower leagues. Premier league teams hide behind 4 old firm games a season and ok financially it works for them but at the detriment of our player development. For any Scottish football fan take the time to look at our national squads from 1978 onwards and look at the standard of player we produced and the teams these players played for !! Every 4 years the drop in level of player and teams played for is clearly apparent yet we do not change. We hide behind a small nation image but when you look back at the talent we had that excuse is a smokescreen. We need change full stop.

Would off loved him to stay another season at United but glad hes done so well good to hear he enjoyed his time at United would love to see him come back one day
