I'm a massive Rangers man thru and thru,,,but I really liked this interview with Peter,,,he is a lovely guy...he loves his club,,I love mine,,petter got to live the dream,,anyway keep them coming Simon....peter is one of the last die hard supporters who played for the club he loves.....today we have Andy Halliday at gers,,somebody born and raised on the Copland road,,would probably play for free just to wear that jersey...Peter comes across as the same type....anyway I wish peter well in his future
Tommy burns and peter grant, embracing as the team wait on the pitch to go up and to collect the ‘95 Scottish cup, grant in tears, is my most emotional football memory. It all comes flooding back when I see it still today.
Easily the best open goal interview yet. Great questions and the right balance between interviewing and laughs. See Peter Grant in a new light too and so glad to get insight about his coaching role at Celtic. He didn’t seem himself...
Fantastic insight into his time at Celtic, when Peter Grant kissed the badge you knew he meant it, never realised he was such a modest guy, he,s the first to say he wasn't the most gifted of players but a lot of games are won in midfield and that's what Peter Grant was all about, winning the ball and not many did it better. A player who always gave 100% for the team and a True Celtic Legend.
best 1 yet and ive watched them all , so much love for his team mates and our great club spoke from heart bit tough on himself at times he was a gd gd player hh 🍀
remember the last ditch tackle Granty made in the 95 cup final even though his ankle was done he'll always go done as 1 of the greats of our club I really enjoyed this interview
Great interview Si. Always loved Granty. A Proper Celtic Legend and what a great insight into the game and behind the scenes as well as some cracking moments and stories.
what a man, great interview again - probably the best yet. Can just imagine playing with him all the passion you read about and just how animated he got when talking about games or players. Top man
Grant is 100% correct about the Mo Johnston saga being the catalyst for the failure to halt Rangers' 9 in a row . It sent the wrong message to everyone connected with Celtic . Souness said later that part of the reason he signed Johnston was to stick it right up Celtic . It had the desired effect .
Peter Grant. Always liked his never-day-die attitude and work rate. He’s a good, honest man and I remember that 95 final where Tommy came on after and embraced him. Two warriors together. Wishing him all the best at Alloa.
Will never forget him playing through the pain barrier and making that last ditch challenge in the cup final against Airdrie in 1995. What a man! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Jt8vx0-N74w.html
Every team needs a player like this. A die hard that will go hell for leather for the cause. Probably 1 of a few players that would have played for nothing at celtic
71000 views, 410 likes. i'm bad myself for forgetting and i like it when podcasters don't bang on about likes and subs, but can we all try to remember to sub and like, if you want obv, thesr interviews. watched about a dozen recently and they are all brilliant, wee si ferry is doing a great job as well. absolutely magic to hear so much from all the guys he interviews. some bhoy the pointer, great stories and honesty. can we get martin o'neill on please ?
Fantastic watch, Peter Grant divides opinions over Glasgow, However, what an honest and passionate guy about football, One for the £120k per week 18yr olds in the EPL...
Honestly couldn't stand the guy when he played for Celtic however after watching this ive changed my opinion on him can't deny he loved his club seems a decent guy , enjoyed watching rangers inflict a lot of misery on him and Celtic 😁😁
Grant going mental at a player for trying a stepover at 9 nil up is why Scottish football has been in the doldrums for decades. The skills are taught out of Scottish players. Faddy wouldn't let his game be taught out him and look at what he did for Scotland.
