SIAM VIEW RESIDENCE: A FINE HOTEL IN PATTAYA 

That pools been refurbished…..used to have a big dolphin water fountain at the end……taught my 16 year old son to swim in that very pool when he was 4!!!…..fond memories

Good one Ed I stayed there not long ago I booked for two @same price, therefore if I had a guest it was free (normally 400b/guest), also larger balcony @ rear with washing sink & also get the sun all day. Cafe over the road very good & cheap, not far to walk past Jameson's Pub past Virgina shop to Big C(2nd Rd)money changer best rate

Nice environment there. Lots going on and a 7-11. You can't knock that. Blimey Ed your gut is humongous. Need to get on a diet mate.

Stayed there January, 5 mins on motorbike taxi to nightspots, good rooms,good pool,good price.

We started staying there before that monstrous skyscraper was built in front, clear view to the sea…..also watched KTK Mansions being built!…..great team of taxi scooter guys right out front!

I always stay in Pattaya Klang past Big C extra near Foodland and often cut through Soi 12 to Second Rd or to Naclua if I'm feeling energetic, like walking. So I know that area where you stayed very well and agree with you it's a nice part of Pattaya despite being a little off track, but then I prefer that sort of thing rather than being in the centre of town amongst all the hustle & bustle.

BLOODY HELL EDDIE!!….we stayed at this hotel about 20 times in the last 10 years!…..the friendliest and best hotel around!….please mention us to the staff if you’re still there!….Dave, Sunitra and little Jack…….had some wonderful wonderful holidays there!…….can’t believe this!

Great review Ed, I'm typing out this comment from my room at the Blue sky resort Koh larn. Took inspiration from ur review, and managed to get a room for 1k. Spent the day enjoying Tien beach, it's a fabulous beach in a very picturesque setting.

Good area out of the way, but sometimes can be a bit of a pain not being near the action. You already know i stayed in the KTK from when we had a beer at the 4x bar. I managed to get a massive room at the KTK for £250 for 10 nights. It's around £600 now for 10 nights, it's not with that much. They do a free shuttle bus which comes in handy, not sure how far they would take you but we just got it to soi 6 lol We found just using grab to get around with no hassle. KTK do a great buffet breakfast for 190b if you're staying nearby.

I won't be staying there any time soon. I stay at the Sunshine hotel Soi8 Beach road, it's close to everything and priced right

Another good one Eddie and there is definitely better value if you don’t mind being away from the chaos a bit. Only thing to watch out for is getting sawn in half by the Soi dogs!. Looks like you are getting ready to come home now - safe journey mate.

Eddie does seem to wander around without a plab. . But so have I. Some misses. But also great discoveries unknown to the "crowd".

I'm currently staying in the KTK Pattaya and I can't fault it. Front facing room overlooking the pool.

Its not that far out if one enjoys a walk..( moto taxis are available) Example from beach rd soi 8 to marquuee bar is about 600m, from this hotel its about 700m.. lol.. And there are bars on the way . Nice place, i used to stay at Nova park back in the day..Cheers Eddy.

Stayed there in 2017. Decent hotel for the price and solid location walkable to basically whatever you need. I wouldn’t spend more than $20 usd on it.

Ed, give the KTK a try when you next visit Patts, a wonderful hotel with small kitchens. Large fridges and some of the most comfortable beds you will find anywhere And cheap ☺️🙏🇬🇧

I stayed next door at the Nova Suites. I got a good deal on a one bedroom suite last July for around $37 USD a night.

Well 1000 Thai baht seems like 30 USD. So a month would be around 900 USD. For a hotel room of course reasonable absolutely but I don't think it's possible to stay indefinitely 😮

I found it hard finding a hotel in the middle of the action, but to be honest I really liked that area and I would probably stay in the Nova Gold again.

What about monthly rates?

God!….I know this area like the back of my hand!!……the road is called Soi AR…..best taxi man in Pattaya opposite that club…..Mr Tik, mention him to us…..he has a taxi stand

Eddy why the f**k would stay that far away if your on Holiday, And won't be a 1000, bat a night in December so do begiving prices out for April.. There are better options to stay in a HOTEL,S where Holiday makers want to be ,,Sorry to be Negative on this one,,,,,And as for motorbike taxis 99% won't have a spare helmet..SO your holiday insurance invalid,,( God forbid)..Have a good day 😎😎😎

Not bad, but too far from the action for me.

Stayed there in 2008,it was OK then but way too old now,there's much better hotels on that soi,with altera and arden owned by the @mind group the best in the area
