The government should invest in the public works . Water and sewage must be properly treated so the island can maintain its pristine environment. Tourists not only like clean and safe facilities but prompt and orderly services. Please Siargao let’s make this happen so that the island can maintain its healthy growth.
It would be easy to easy to put drainage by the road. A lot of stuff is pre-cast concrete now. it can be done really fast without shutting down a section for long periods. Just dig, level and place.

Siargao Island is getting ugly, Many Private resorts occupied the Beachfront and put permanent structures. Too much Rubbish on the side of the road, they do not have proper waste disposal, and they do not even have a drainage system, so when there is a typhoon or Heavy rain the roads can easily get flooded, and all the Rubbish and Trash will all go to the Ocean.

The sudden increase in tourist arrivals has overwhelmed these places, and the local government has neglected or disregarded the need for basic infrastructure such as internet access, medical facilities, roads, waste management, environmental concerns, and so on. Unfortunately, the Department of Tourism seems more interested in attracting more tourists than providing the necessary infrastructure to accommodate foreign visitors to the country.
