Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) - Violin Concerto in D minor, Op. 47 (1905) 1. Allegro moderato (00:26) 2. Adagio di molto (17:40) 3. Allegro, ma non tanto (26:40) Simone Lamsma, violin Mark Wigglesworth, conductor Detroit Symphony Orchestra
Bravo, magistralmente executado. Respeitosamente Paulo Costa.
What a very Awful violin performance! She has No clue about keeping pace, rhythm, and harmony. So disappointing, especially given such beautiful piece of art! Could go on, but prefer no further comment.
@@violin3532 Thank you, Jordin, I would not place myself on any such stage as I am very happy that I'm not qualified for it. But I am very confident about my opinion. And expressing it certainly does not mean I wish to compete with anyone. Nor with you, or anyone. It's simply my opinion.
@@eduardosuarez4762 If you're confident about your opinion, could you give us a few timings with respect to lack of tempo and intonation. I didn't spot any. Not the greatest version I've ever heard but definitely accomplished in my opinion.
It's a wacky piece to begin with. How can you be certain of any timing issues? The whole thing feels abstract anyway. Simone is a super underrated violinist. Her rendition of Schindler's List is actually better than IItzhak Perlman's to my ear.
