I’ve just watched this video to find that you’re from Novosibirsk! I went there one year ago, actually experienced beautiful winter in Siberia and even met New Year there! It was really fantastic and exciting to stay there in winter, and I loved it😊 I’m going there again at the end of April of 2019. I hope I’ll come across you somewhere!)))

I like winter! In Chicago, winters are snowy and cold. I like cross country skiing and hiking in a quiet, peaceful forest. -11 F here is pretty cold for our area, but at a point, it all just feels the same to me. I liked your background music!

i was in Moscow (April 2017), it was cold for me. 7 Celcius. it supposed to be Spring but felt like Winter. and then i went to Sankt Peterburg, which is more cooler. -10 Celcius with showering snow. i thought i am gonna die at that moment. because i am from indonesia, a tropical country

I noticed one of the words, bateria(?), had the letter E (after the t), but it sounded more like э to me when you pronounced the word. Is it like English where the pronunciation isn't always reliably linked to the sound of the letters? Granted, those two (e and э) have a similar sound...

Pls answer these questions. How do people ride public transportation or drive when it is so cold that engines will not start & standing at a bustop can cause frostbite? How do the children play in ice & snow without getting frostbitten? Lastly, what % of people, you think, get frostbite every winter.? I would think a lot. Proper boots & hats must be expensive.
1. They don't switch from their initial type of transportation. If they were driving a car, they'd still drive it; if they used public transportation before, they'd continue using it (they can't just buy a car right away) 2. Kids don't play in ice and snow when it's super cold, they wait for warmer weather. It's like you'd never go out and play when it's raining, you wait for it to pass. 3. Frostbite isn't common since we're used to it and know how to warm ourselves up! 4. Close to 0% Proper boots and hats are just like the ones you'd have anywhere in Europe or America, nothing special. I wear Timberland shoes I bought in America, and I'm fine! I live in Siberia, not near the North Pole lol
