I really don't like how harsh Greg and Katie were but I like that Oliver owned up to his mistake. Still you know what they say, first time for everything
Ryan Lee :I feel like he felt he like it wasn’t fair to Taylor to be the one to continue to be yelled at for something she didn’t actually do. it shows on his face after they keep yelling at her that he decided he should own up to the mistake he made so his parents would yell at him instead
Ryan Lee :because taylor should only be punished for stuff she’s actually done stuff that’s actually her fault and not something one of her two siblings do. Now if the car being damaged had actually been her fault it would have made sense for her to be yelled at entirely but since it wasn’t yelling at her was kind of unfair.
How is this harsh? They're making their kids take responsibility for their actions. They're not screaming and calling them names and smacking them around. If more parents acted like this our generation wouldn't be as fucked up as it is. This isn't harsh. This is parenting.
I agree, David. Cooper would be like a little brother to Taylor and Oliver and he would be a big brother to Anna-Kat. I would cry hysterically if Cooper was now an official Otto. Cooper Otto. I could see it now. So cute! So precious.
Ok I’m just gonna say this, if Oliver was gay he would seriously come clean to that kid who had trouble coming out, he would tell him that he’s not ashamed of himself and would definitely tell him it is hard but instead he was being brave and pretended he was gay to show there’s nothing to worry about Oliver has a supportive family so I’m pretty sure if he was gay he would tell his sister. What he did for that guy showed how much of a great character he is and you just can’t force sexuality and force the writers to do what you want.. this show is fictional but I feel like y’all don’t really care about what the writers put in the show.. out of all shows I think this is the best one besides The Good Doctor I honestly don’t mind the ship between Cooper and Oliver, I think people can do whatever they want but there’s nothing wrong with them being close either, I get gay vibes from them XD but they love eachother like brothers and I think that’s amazing of the writers, just to show strong friendships matter and nothing romantic.. all I’m saying is if he says he’s not gay, he’s not.. he might be bi even but be grateful that this show actually has awesome characters Just think of it like this, if a character said he was gay and was serious about it no one would force the writers to make him straight and have a heterosexual relationship. They can still ship that character with another for fun but they wouldn’t demand the writers to do whatever they want or else they would get backlash
that is actually not bad in Hollywood. There are mid 20 actors portraying 14 year olds on screen sometimes. And that is done because real teens are not allowed to work more than eight hours a day by law and during the school year three hours have to be dedicated to school work. source: I was the original lassie in the 1949 movie - not the actor the actual dog.
Shows are better without laughing tracks because we get to actually immerse ourself into the show. We also get to decide which jokes were funny to us it’s annoying hearing a recorded laugh after an unfunny joke. Superstore, the office, American housewife, Blackish, these are all great shows without laugh tracks.
Cooper should be adopted by the Ottos and become an official Otto. It would be so cute that they would adopt him. Taylor is my favorite character in American Housewife, but if Cooper would be Taylor's adoptive little brother, then he'd be my favorite too. Cooper really doesn't have any parents probably because his dad left when his mom was pregnant with him and later his dad cheats on Cooper's mom and remarries a young woman named Maren and have twins, a boy and a girl, the girl's older, the boy's younger, then Cooper's dad dies when his ex-wife gives birth to Cooper and Cooper realizes he has a half-brother and a half-sister and runs away from home when his mother dies. Then he would be adopted by the Otto family.

Just because your a teenager doesn’t mean you get a free pass to make every bad decision you can think of. That’s why parents have to discipline their kids
