Believe it or not, I'm expanding my English vocabulary through Rick Steve's shows. I like his set of words and phrases. But of course, the places that he visits are very interesting... Even puppetry has gone advanced in incorporating technology in their sound systems.

i think I like Rick Steves so much, because I've now visited multiple locations from his past series (and some of this new series within the last year or so) and can confirm his reviews are extremely balanced. Highlights can essentially be enjoyed by all (or at least most from North America). His recommendations are fantastic, and his timely breaks-from character/expected behaviors keep him down to earth. Great reviews, and keep this season coming! (Please review Germany at some point, or more of Spain/Barcelona in particular, you nailed Greece with the cruise guidance)

BBC Rick Stein did a food tour with his Land Rower, crossing ferry around the Mediterranean while eating, cooking. It included Sardinia, Corsica, Sicily, Morocco, TUrkey etc.
Super Freeways are generally free because taxpayers already paid for them with taxes. What you say about Northern Italy subsidising them is unfair and wrong.
Sicily have a potential ti become One of the most important Island in the world i think One day become reality not only magic Land for turist but for all people living here
Yummm....I love Sicilian food, yet don't care for too many anchovies or capers..! A culture, theological, history, and cuisine explorer...love to cook....

I love the historical aspects, the people, the food and the architecture. They live a quieter and slower pace of life. Something we are missing taking time to appreciate all parts of the community and not congested with autos and rude drivers.
