My canary started having spasms today and it was bad. It calmed down a bit but the spasms wont go away and he wont eat or drink wont fly around he is just staying idle since eight to nine hours and this worries me I dont know what to do and the vet isnt an option where i live :((
Khan khan injured legs are a bit hard to treat in finches because of how small they are. The best you can do is send me a picture to my facebook so I can see whats wrong with the leg and ill try to help you out there. facebook.com/Paradiseaviary09/
Couldyou do a video about te lavender waxbils, and the (breeding) expirience you have with them. I have a 100% pair but i have difficuties breeding them. Once again love your vids!
Thank you TroyBoi im actually working on a video for the lavenders its just hard getting all the footage I need to complete the video these birds are very shy and very hard to catch them on camara. I have a few pairs 3 of which have started their nest so hopefully soon when I get footage of the chicks ill be able to complete a video.
Saludos, excelente video.
Thanks, I wasn't aware that they sell these broad-spectrum medications! I normally feed them the Sparkliquid from Veta farm for first aid. Not sure if they are selling it in America but it's an energy and electrolyte supplement. (ps: Your videos definitely deserve more views!! Apparently, the youtube algorithm favours longer videos and tend to suggest those to users)
Hi Wing im glad your enjoying the videos 🙂. Ive also used the veta farm spark I use it after the birds finish their full spectrum medication along with some probiotics to help them recover faster. As far as youtube algorithm you might be right. Ive made some longer video that get more views, but people dont really watch the entire videos so I started making shorter ones that go straight to the point. Eitherways im happy if it atleast reaches a few people and helps them out 🙂.
Hi Zackary 123 thank you. The one I show in the video is medpet 4in1 this is a full spectrum antibiotic that consist of two active ingrediants Furaltadone and Ronidazole. This is the one I use when I dont know the exact cause of disease. I dont mix it with spark just plain water. After the treatment is over I give spark and probiotics to help the bird recover faster.
Hi, does just the sparkliquid work for you? I'm very cautious about using antibiotics when I don't know what the issue is because it might not target the problem or even worse build a resistance to the antibiotic, but my bird has been fluffed up and just sitting on the perch with its eyes closed lately and her movements aren't very agile anymore. She is also hardly vocal now but she used to be very vocal in the past. I'm not sure what the problem is but I have a zebra finch and I'm treating her individually so I'm thinking of buying the spark liquid to boost her immune system in hopes of saving her from whatever illness she has.
