I can relate to that as a person that lives with the disease myself I dread winter time because winter is not my friend and getting caught in any rain summer fall ect messes with my body too and I cannot do swimming pools either.

My daughter is having a crisis now, she doesn't appear to be in much pain anymore but she seems very tired and just sleeping a lot. Is this a norm? The extreme fatigue while recovering.
Hello, I also have Sickle Cell and I’m sorry that your child has to go through this horrible disease. Hydration and rest are vital for people living with SC. I can’t stress that enough. Her body gets fatigued very easily and so she’ll get exhausted A LOT and resting for long periods is normal but like I said Resting, staying hydrated and taking folic acid is key. My doctor has me taking Hydroxyurea as well so maybe you might wanna look into that.
Really thinking about killing myself because of this disease, I feel like I have nothing to offer this world, I’m sorry I just don’t have anyone to tell and I’m really scared
Keep your head up your here for a reason I also have these days living with sickle. Just pray, take your meds and take it one day at a time. Live life to the fullest/ sending love and blessings your way.
