Thank you this really have help me out a lot. I have applied before but never appealed it. But this yr my sickle cell has put me in the er so many times since January 31.... and I'm hurting again now and I start my new job tomorrow morning...
Shan Ellis Hey Im so glad that it was helpful! I hope you stop hurting before the morning. Yes if they deny you always appeal because its like they deny everyone the first time. Plus if you appeal and they approve it they will go back to your application date when they pay you.
Great information sis! I am a teacher and I love my career, but I do wonder what I will do if/when I cant work. I am definitely taking this information. My long vlog is going up tonight and I will definitely start documenting my hospital visits and stays.
Paula Bonsu Hey Sis! Cant wait for your next vlog!! Yeah it just got really hard for me and I had to keep calling off and I couldn't manage home, hubby, kids, work with the sickle cell. I loved my work but its funny right before I started getting really sick we talked about me being a stay at home mom again but now I have no choice which is good for me. Thanks for watching Sis!!
My daughter is 19 and she takes a lot of pain medication daily and I no longer have health insurance. She is in pain 80% of the time and I am trying to help her get SSI disability but she has no work experience. Is it going to be difficult if we take care of most of her crisis at home?
Wait i can apply to both my sickle cell be kickin my ass i get a new job every year cuzz of it i use to get ssi but it cutt once i turn 18 and started workin but i aint catch a crisis till im 21 then five more occurred and im stilk working im 28 now
Good info, could yu go into detail about years working prior to receiving disability? I worked for 6-7 yrs so the amt in disability income isn't as great as a person who's worked 15yrs. It seems like the longer you've worked the larger ur disability income is... if you kno, i think b4 yu said it's based on retirement? Idk?
Frenchi' J. Hey Sis thanks!! Yeah I will go into detail for you in another video. If you have more questions email them to me so I can make sure I answer exactly what you are asking. Nesha0349@yahoo.com
Your child can still get it my son has it and get ssi ...like she said they will deny u at first but they payed me all that back...but if u work they can take a little out his check because out the house hold u can only receive so much...but he still will get it..and also I have ssc and I've gotten it since I was a baby my mom was getting soon I was born...but don't give up they will deny u the first time ..if you want u can get a lawyer and they will help u and they just will take a small amount out of his first checn..Goodluck hope this helps you
